Want to record guitar and vocals separately with good latency monitory
Rec me a budget-friendly audio interface (under $100)
2i2
I recommend you double your budget
the one you posted is good I have it
I've heard they have a reputation for breaking
Y'all, what is the point of having an audio interface? No offense but is it just for the cred?
bump help
shit lol I hope not I’ve had mine for about 6 months
Idk user u could be lying
If you ever want to record an actual instrument or use a microphone you need one. Also sound quality is usually better than oem computer soundcards
n-no u
Yeah can u rec a budget friendly one under $100
I've had a behringer uphoria with 4 ports for 3 months and its still working okay and it wasn't too expensive, its also kept on the floor amongst the cigarette ash and butts which have fallen.
Eh, I do hope it survives tho, it's pretty comfy. Too many knobs and dials that I don't know what do tho.
I've had the same focusrite for like 10 years, still works perfectly
Yeah which one tho ffs
why don't you ask anywhere but a fucking anime forum
saffire 6
probably not manufactured anymore
Why not just buy USB compatible mics and plug them directly into the computer? I'm not playing dumb, I genuinely don't get what the value of an audio interface is for a bedroom producer
fuck sake literally not here to have an argument just looking for comfy advice been researching for hours leave anime out of it ffs
You can plug guitar straight into the audio interface and the drivers sound better.
OP remember to download the driver for it before ya set it up so the installation works well
honestly, go on reddit or search comparisons on google, go to gear review websites. don't ask angry, idiotic teenagers.
Focusrite's will be great to start off with. If you're thinking of spending more, then just do what I suggested above.
I have pic related and it's been holding up for a year. simple interface and gets the job done. focusrite scarlett 2i2 is rather overpriced. can also look at options from presonus, M-audio but behringer is the best budget choice
Just get a second hand focusrite then.
synths and stuff you have to record with line out
I have a modified version of your pic OP
its good for interfacing between lines and computer but for more advanced stuff you'd probably want something else
To play live (quarter inch outputs) and its a soundcard.
this
if you want to go behringer get the 404hd
this. 4 inputs gives you plenty of room to expand what you can record. the pres in everything around that price are just kinda shit so whatever
usb mics have to convert sound waves from your mouth to electricity then to digital data. usually those analog-to-digital converters are shit, not to mention you cant set the volume off of the mic, only after its already been recorded onto the computer. also 1/4 inch instruments, and to connect 1/4 inch monitor speakers for output
>the pres are shit
nowadays most mic pres are just fine so long as you spend over 100 on an interface or go look for a used 2 in 2 out
the hd series should have decent pres
I have this, its pretty decent for bedroom producing. Wish it had more outputs tho.
this
Noobs don't know that pres today are more than adequate even in budget units.
yeah if you're not on windows 10
