i think adam demirjian might just be a genius

It doesn't fall into most of the trappings of midwest emo. No obsession with math rock or emocore worship, no generic boring lyrical prose. The melodies are god tier, the compositions are fun, the instrumentation is off the walls stupid in a good way, it's all perfect at subverting the tropes of how midwest emo should sound despite still being distinctly emo by virtue of its lyrical themes and vocals. Adam is probably a genius.

When in the absolute fuck is this getting a vinyl release? I know there were some uncleared samples but they just recently put it on Spotify with those taken out and it sounds fine. Also: youtube.com/watch?v=SBgSo26oanw
Albums like this really only come once in a blue moon. velocity:design:comfort is another one that was was an absolute masterpiece despite being made on a practically none existent budget by people who were basically no-namers. It's a shame how both TBLA and Sweet Trip and a bunch of other absolutely god tier bands/artists manage to make incredible albums, but get very little recognition for it outside of niche audience on the internet. Sucks, because it just leads to the bands disbanding.

adam recently posted something on instagram with every other member of the brave little abacus so i think something might be happening soon. don't want to get my hopes up too high though.

Nice. It's been almost ten years since "Masked Dancers" so there's a chance that a reunion tour (+ new merch / vinyl) is in the works.
Ayden Powell
Watch his interview on YT. Lyrics both mean something and don't. He just uses phrases that would fit right into the music.
Elijah Murphy
Somewhere in this interview I think he says something about how he lost his data because he couldn't find the master tracks or something. But the full interview is a nice listen anyway.
They could just do what HANL did with Deathconsciousness and do a better mix for the vinyl since they lack the masters. I don't think it'd matter regardless, since the sound of the record wouldn't be hindered badly at all if it's sourced from something other than the original masters if it's put on vinyl.
