I pirated it years ago and still think it's fantastic

its a kind of genesis (pun not intended) point in prog rock, taking psychedelic rock and pop and upping the musicianship to the point where the psychedelia starts taking a back seat, it introduced the fantastical/mythical elements which are present in subsequent prog acts (such as rush) as well as the extended song lengths/dramaticism. But it did all of this with a feeling of originality, and the fact it still had one foot in the '60s meant there was more of a leaning towards poppier songwriting, giving us songs like I Talk to the Wind, Epitaph, and ITCOTCK. the long and short of it is that its undeniably a prog album but was so original and forward-thinking that it doesn't fall into cliche or ever sit still for 2 seconds, its popular for the same reason many '60s bands were.

If it weren't for the album cover this would be rightfully thought of as a mid-tier KC album
