This is a chart of bands that have no business being discussed on Yea Forums ever...
AC/DC has three good albums, Slayer has six good albums, Nirvana has one good compilation.
Why isn't Neutral Milk Hotel on your chart?
Shut the fuck up you big blubbering faggot.
I take it the white background represents "the Beatles" then
Imagine being so pretentious that you can't enjoy catchy radio rock.
What's the best MCR record, and why is it Three Cheers?
+ Pearl Jam, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Weezer, Slayer, Nirvana
~ blink-182, AC/DC, Metallica, Chvrches
- U2, Foo Fighters, Bowling for Soup, Aerosmith, Disturbed, Paramore, Linkin Park, Green Day, KISS, Pantera, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Avenged Sevenfold, Motley Crue
Where is literally all rap?
Things would be more interesting here if a) bands over 25 yrs old were no longer discussed (except in context of their influence to later groups) b) People made more effort to explore new stuff
Would you like a picture of my penis?
What did bowling for soup do to you?
Where's the mainstream pop and rap chart?
you're rarded, be quiet
>implying anyone actually discusses Paramore and Chvrches anyway
>implying it's not just waifuposting
...
sure, is it under 25 years old?
Where's SOAD?
In the old Yea Forums of circa 2009-13 none of the OP bands would have been allowed.
weezer and nirvana maybe
maaaaaaaaaaaaybe pantera, but that's a stretch
Let’s discuss
>Weezer
old Yea Forums liked blue/pinkerton but new weezer wouldnt be tolerated
>Nirvana
too mainstream
>Pantera
nah, redneck metal
>too mainstream
imagine caring about music being mainstream or not
that's how Yea Forums was, it was all about the elitism for years
^This. Astroturfing Redditors who came here during the presidential election ruined this board.
I love green day and linkin park though. Wouldn't discuss them on Yea Forums because there isn't anything to discuss really, I'm just speaking out against this POPULAR ROCK BAD KANYE GOOD mentality. Green day has 2 great albums in dookie and American Idiot, and 2 solid albums in insomniac and nimrod. I like paramore and blink182 a lot too though I admit they can be juvenile at times
Nirvana has two great albums, I see chvrches discussed here all the time. AC/DC, metallica, and disturbed have great songs, RHCP too. You're trolling if you seriously dismiss led zepplin and Queen.
FUCK KISS and U2 I hate them so much
>You're trolling if you seriously dismiss led zepplin
HEY, HEY, MOMMA SAID
chvrches isnt discussed seriously ever, they're literally only mentioned still because of the tripfag.
>disturbed
>great songs
>queen
>good
let's not get carried away
>disturbed
>great songs
I guess when you were 13 they were ok.
When is Paramore discussed seriously either?
the only thing I have against them is that they stole a bunch of shit from other artists. I love that song about the lord of the rings, plus immigrant song.
i listened to chvrches first album a lot during my first year of college, it had a great sound for the time. as for disturbed I recommend "the game" and "inside the fire" those are my two favorites. I never liked the band either until I caught them live and they had the presence of an actual talented passionate band. Plus I deliver pizzas to the guitarist no joke. Queen has bicycle race, flash, and most importantly don't stop me now which is a perfect song. Love radio gaga too
I hate that Bowling for Soup somehow made this chart
> Never mentioned in the vein of other bands on this chart
> The only bamd of that genre that doesnt take themselves way to seriously
> The hits are actually fun and catchy
> The singer voices chuck e cheese which is based as fuck
Is guns n' roses okay?
All music has business being discussed on Yea Forums and the fact you all like predominantly rap and some super obscure hipster shit that has maybe 104 listeners at peak doesn’t change that
No.
