Yo, I droppeed 8 tracks this week. Hope you dig em, now I'm going to go back to my cave to chop samples and have another beat-week like this. hmu on soundcloud if you want any of 'em mastered by me, for your mixtape or shit.
>experimental a cappella >w/ lyrics >loose concept about someone who loses everything in a flood >dark ambient >world >sound collage >drone >purchase for a mere dollar and get two bonus tracks, one of which is an a cappella cover of Sunn O)))’s “It Took the Night to Believe”
you make really nice music I have to hear the new stuff
I liked Water in the Image of A God, title kinda caught me I kinda wanted to say more but idk I just really like it.
this is the kind of stuff I have to listen to when I'm really stressed out. Weird how it sounds like it's a ton of tension but mostly feeling a release from it. Very soothing ironically.
Reminds me a hell of a lot of The Lotus Eaters. Sounds like a cover band honestly. I'd say get a more defined sound, try using modern production or playing techniques instead of relying on 30 year old tropes. BC you've got some talent. Disappointing walk through that one alley but it's a grey sky not a black one.
Drums are mixed too soft. They're too quiet & the treble has been taken out of them. Very muddy mix because of this. Barefoot dancing in a sloppy puddle.
>Lip Balm Very nice, but I think the mix could be improved. I'd sidechain that sub bass to something, so that it's not just a wall of bass, and cut the highs to it so that it emphasizes that low rumble. Maybe use a dynamic EQ at around around 60 - 75 Hz. And let the kick get boosted while the bass is reduced. I notice that in a lot of the tracks. The sub and the kick drum are fighting for space, and neither really have a chance to come through.
my most recent track. any feedback is greatly appreciated. ty.

listened to snow freckles. that synth that comes in at 1:16 works so well. fav part of the track, it reminds me of Boards of Canada. God damn then the guitar at 2:30 with that dirty tone, played along with the clean acoustic sounding guitar. this is next level stuff. Really enjoyed this one. liked and followed.
listened to Crowley, and Some Other Dudes. The keys sound really nice to start the track. Your track gives me some Aphex Twin I Care Because You Do / RDJ Album vibes. the flutes at 2:15 are very nice, and the arpeggiator that follows is lovely. Overall, you did a great job with this, I love it. 8 minutes long and I enjoyed every bit of it. you really know how to create an atmosphere, and how change things up enough to keep interest for the full 8 minutes. . . more than just keeping interest though I enjoyed every second of it.
RECCS I remember this'n :) still v much enjoy the vibes you lay down on this--indeed very wintery (my fav season haha). It doesn't progress much, but the spacey atmosphere makes up for that.
clyp.it/xpodyxmm >EDM >Progressive House Unfinished project. Have a bad case of writers' block, give it a couple days and come back to it. Gonna redo the pad synth, add a bell and other embellishments, but I don't have the equipment to do latency-free audio recording, so vocals are out for now.

This is real good. Nice chord progression and melody (kind of Beatles-esque in parts) and production suits it perfectly. Honestly one of my favorite things I've heard from these threads.
