Burzum's okay even though I never want to hear any of it ever again (listened to it to death when I was a teenager and I'm sick of it). In minimizing the "metal" part of black metal Varg brought a feminine angle to the genre, which is partially good and partially bad (probably more bad in the scheme of things).
I'd unironically call Absurd the pinnacle of black metal in spirit and execution.
