The 2010's are almost over.
In your opinion, who were overall the best artists of the decade?
For me, it is Beach House, and Julia Holter on the second spot

This was a terrible decade for music.
me and my internet friends
Nah i don't agree
00's>90's>60's>10's>70's>80's
Dude, do you actually believe that?
70's>80's>90's>00's>60's>10's
Agreed expect swap 00's with the 90's
Better than the 2000s by a long shot.
80's>70's>00's>60's>90's>>>'s
The 10's in popular music was extremely bad. I blame slutwave, industry plants and poptimism.
But music overal wasn't that bad. We got some of the greatest experimental albums since the 70's
Popular music now isn't as bad as the 90's pop scene, but you'd figure that the ever-expanding reach of the internet would open the door for all sorts of innovative artists... but oh we are settling for shallow sound cloud rappers and big booty bitches.
But it sorta get it, why would popular artists and labels bother putting effort in creating something new, when the contemporary trend is that a few beats with slick production and materialistic lyrics gets you million of streams?
I knew the internet was a fucking problem as soon as Nickelodeon started running commercial bumps shilling certain pertinent topics and ideas.
Based
