The only "good" rap album I like is Madvillainy. None of the tracks are too long and the rapping is more focused on being technically impressive than feeling pseudo-important, which puts it above every other rap album I've heard.

Bohemian Rhapsody is great as always but fucking hell, the rest is shit.

All rap is overrated because it's a sub-standard genre of music. It's basically a barbaric form of expression, musically lacking in melody and lyrically centered upon the animal impulses to fuck and kill. It is only out of sympathy for the African-American's plight that critics and white folk feel indebted to feign appreciation for such 'music.'

As more blacks move out of the ghettos and increase their social capital, the association between rap music and black people will grow more tenuous; eventually it will be recognized that rap is the music of plebes, and it will be forgotten to history.

There is too little merit inherent in the genre to save it.
