RECS: These are great
dawg... THIS IS AMAZING! this is SO FUCKING GOOD, please for the love of God make an artist page somewhere. This is like some sort of R&B style, elements of emo, soul stuff. Wild good. I'm in love. I usually like lyrics to be a bit more complex but it really makes sense for them not to be in this style. Sorry, I just can't praise you enough my man.
>shoegaze >indie rock >post punk >FFO: The Cure, The Smashing Pumpkins, Dinosaur Jr, Built To Spill, Slowdive
Also available on all streaming platforms! If you are a spotify user, if you could save some of our tunes and follow us, that would help us a lot and I'll tell you why: Spotify uses algorithms based on followers/streams/saves to decide what artists gets placed on playlists that have HUGE reach and really help artists grow their fanbases and look more appealing to labels. It takes ya 15 seconds, is free, and would really help out a fellow Yea Forumssician. Plus i guarantee you wont hate us! Together we will defeat spotify. Thanks!
jesus christ you just made my day. i really appreciate that. my drum mics are the lowest quality. its mostly our guitar bass and singer that makes this work so well. im hoping to add my flow art with the music if we play slower stuff that doesnt need drums. like this pic
Really happy with this song turned out. I appreciate constructive criticism. >cello and vocals >electro >Jungle / DnB influenced
Really good vibe and nice groovy song. You would probably be my favorite band at any random Indy house show. You should probably work on the ending of the song and the lyrics are kind of dumb sometimes imo (but hey I write dumb lyrics too). Maybe just change the part about being so high - you can write something better (and it just sounds super highschool). All around super solid song - you guys should do more and start playing shows.
In general I'm not super into remixes but this one was really cool. You did a good job of making something new out of an old song.
This is so cool - both experimental and fun to listen to. The piano really sends it over the top.
Like others said, the hook is great. Love the backing track, especially the whistle/flute sound.
The instrumental is awesome. Vocals are good, but at times a little loud in the mix. The structure of the song is nice too.
Listened to the track "Myopic." Reminds me of a video game soundtrack, in a good way. Love how the guitar and synth lead double each other.
"What confines" is so blissful. Love the guitar, and the vocals mesh well with the laid back style of the track.
Love the vocals. Nice beat too, easy to vibe to it.
"Snailfinder" Love the guitar right out of the gate. Bass has a nice counter melody going on. Glad it's not just copying the guitar. Vocals could be a little louder? Or maybe less reverb on them? They seem kind of distant. The vocal performance is excellent though, bet ya'll would sound great live. Also love the look of the album cover.
that's a shitty phuture doom remix. I mean, his stuff is pretty lackluster itself, but turning it into an even more boring tekno track is just uninspired. I don't feel the black metal connection here at all
he was just giving you some constructive criticism you potato brained dumbass just because its old doesnt mean its not garbo and just because you post something doesnt mean its gonna get a positive reaction
4 years ago I used to browse Yea Forums a lot and left... and you're still here, posting your music. and it's barely gone anywhere dude. That's all I can say

I've learned that in electronic music jargon, the following statements are taken to be true: >anything dark = influenced by black metal >dark aesthetic = influenced by black metal It's retarded, but what can you do? The IQ of the average electronic artist is probably 70 and the IQ of their fans, who become the next wave of electronic artists due to how easy it is to make even for literal children, is like 60. This is the result of generation after generation of electronic artists dumbing their music down for the following generation so that it's more accessible. >inb4 called butthurt Not butthurt, I really don't care about misusing words as long as it's intentional. If you're trolling black metallers by calling your boring electronic music influenced by black metal, that's funny as fuck. But if it's not intentional, like if you really believe that anything dark is black metal-influenced and especially if you go on to claim "I never meant to offend anyone" by calling it black metal-influenced... Jesus fucking Christ. That's how it usually goes, though...
