>death grips are ftms
damn...

I'd say it's split half and half. Originally a ton of people liked them but their fanbase got so annoying a lot of people on Yea Forums dislike them now. Personally I love them, but my taste can't really speak for all of Yea Forums

outside of their fanbase (and thus much of this board) being awful, i dig their stuff. theyve pushed the game forward

true, dubs speak it

idk

Tell us what you think of them.

decent, community is shite

I CLOSE MY EYES AND SEIZE IT

Beware sounds like an industrial song from the early 90's.
Not only the production, but the whole attitude and aesthetic of it.
Industrial died in the mid 90's in my opinion and hasn't sounded near the same since, following Ministry's whole discography kind of shows you a taste of the life span of Industrial, around the mid 90's it died a hard fucking death and it's never been the same IMO.
Beware alone made me respect them and appreciate them, when I first heard it I was off guard and it gave me goosebumps.
They're a good group but the fan boys and obsessives are as bad as any, not geniuses just dudes with good talent and I'm excited with any release.

they're ok

What are some songs that sound like Beware?

i think they're way more edgy and annoying than their fans. i hate them

i, have no frieeends

Who are they? (newfag)
Never listened to Death Grips so that's why don't have an idea who the white boy is

just asking, what are some of your favorite bands?

the lofi production, heavy with samples and repetition, almost punk like quality of the do whatever you want take drugs and experiment with music with electronic instruments reminds me of a lot of the late 80's early 90's. Hard to really pin point something that "sounds like" the song itself but you would look at Al Jourgensens early production and all the tons of side projects and interpersonal stuff between artists at the time.
WaxTrax had a lot of those releases.
That's just the thing about old industrial music, it sounded unique, different from eachother similar, nowadays it's all the same and hard to differentiate who's who.

I used to be a big industrial head in highschool and years after but it's been too long for me to pull a close example to Beware sorry friendo, here's some good Ministry.

sorry if the words are fucked in this post I am quite a few beers deep at the moment.

GODS

Dont really get the hype but i enjoy a couple of their albums sure

this thread either bait or real gay nigga hours

neither i'm genuinely wondering

checked the box in gay nigga hours

bad bait

they’re good, i’d say their original run before the break up was even great but the last 2 albums have been a mixed bag. Some really really good tracks in between some filler, sorta like Fugazis later albums. Their shorter releases between albums for the past few years have been really good
