The fact that Violent Times was ghostwritten brings it down to an 8 from a 10.
Source?
kanye said it himself of twitter, just google "violent crimes ghostwritten"
Pretty mediocre ngl
>any music
>caring about context
What if I wrote an 11/10 song about the passing of my wife, only for you to find out I've never been married?
most of the album was ghostwritten
It'd be even more impressive
Everybody talking about violent crimes, but 'wouldn't leave' and 'ghost town' are the standouts
fuck kanye
I may be salty but niggas is nuts
It's for when I'm in my seventies.
but yikes is the best
Least impressive Kanye album by a mile.
I thought about killing you has one of the best sample flips in recent memory, too bad ye's poeoduticon autism made him rerelease the track with a shittier beat switch
It's impressive that he managed to exercise such restraint and vulnerability both musically and lyrically. He went from being one of the most gaudy egomaniacs in rap to making a stripped-down EP about wanting to kill himself.
All Mine is the best track.
Reminder that Yea Forums loved it until Fantano reviewed it
Cyhi the prince wrote it and Kanye performed it, but most of Kanye’s verses are ghostwritten
His most personal and thought provoking album detailing his flaws in greater detail than his previous works from post mbdtf ever could. It explains a new side of Kanye that’s possible of introspection and admitting wrongdoings
It's rap so it will never reach full potential
People still love it lmao people just don’t like fantano cause he’s an arrogant cunt it’s that simple
It was about killing his ego, which is clearly the overreaching theme of this project
kanye is a genius
Cardi B's ghostwriter Pardison Fontaine wrote most of it
Wrong, Pardison Fontaine wrote it.

It's shit.
bravo is all I have to say about this post, bravo
When will you finally accept this is better than Kids See Ghosts? He pulled this one from up his sleeve and made a brilliant retrospective on his mind, being self aware and honest. He drove pitchfork mad and even though they panned it for not playing identity politics and poptimistic messages like they like it, they still can't shut up about him. He pulled the middle finger to critics and Drake with a single ad-lib that has been arguably the most effective music stunt this year, made it his signature, for himself, for he has now become his own product and markets it geniously. ye is the crown of it all, its humanizing, it's how people exactly don't want kanye to be, a flawed human.
Based Kanye being honest
>panned
It got a 7
yeezus (worst shit to ever exist) got a 9.5
I still prefer KSG over Ye since the former is a bit more cohesive and nuanced in its lyrics and music.
