WLFGRL by Machine Girl
youtube.com
I once accidentally played this album on my friend's bluetooth speaker and a good portion of my sport team heard. Not a good day.
what is this
>spending $300 on music
>buying vinyl
Aeroplane was my first vinyl ever at $40 though
fishmans - Otokotachi No Wakare 98.12.28
best live album ever recorded
Faggot Who Can't Imagesearch by You
I hate your kind.
What do they normally listen to?
A lot of stupid stupid boring trap music. At the time I think 6ix9ine was just popping off, this was like May of last year. Funny thing is I do one of those sports where its like meets instead of games so the other teams heard it too. Good times. I had my earbuds in too so I didn't know until Ghost came on and someone actually fucking came up and told me that my music was playing. Not a good day, didn't even do well in the meet.
This one. I kinda hate the artist just released it and kinda just disappeared from the world without much information or anyway too support
The album got some pretty good reviews on rym and plenty of supporters on bandcamp, he could have at least made a cassette release.
I might just make a bootleg for it because its definitely a personal favorite
sounds similar to one of my favorites, Coconuts. It eventually got an LP rather than only CD, but they just kind of appeared, made it, then disappeared.
Maybe, but I'm aware that no remaster to VU's first two lps is gonna improve the shit sound quality
Who is this by ?
It's a self titled noise rock album. Coconuts.
normie trash
But inxy, WLFGRL is good. You're the one who listens to LAGWAFIS and Black Metal. You listen to Fishmans though which makes up for it.
Based OP
Honestly, everyone shits on it but I love this one.
Is MG2 a Hip-Hop song?
At the very least I own the CD
certainly not that album OP.
That shit was weak as fuck
I feel like people only like this because it has a cool cover and sounds like DG instrumentals
FUCKING THIS GODDAMIT FUCK JUST PRESS IT ALREADY
every single one of us wants even a digital version of that one
None
filename.jizz
and I think the only people think the cover is cool is because of the random japanese/chinese text (I guess as a clunky futurism signifier)
remember when westerners who used "asian culture" aesthetics in a shallow way were called wapanese/weeaboos? I miss those days
go see them live instead. way better
Don't bother, the music is bad and the "artist" is a libtard anti-Trump. Sad!
>asphalt culture degenerate who makes disposable 'aesthetic' electronic music is left-leaning
who would have guessed
youtube.com
How you sound in my head
it's instrumental though
Would've been more aesthetic if he didn't blank anything out LOL!
have you even heard WLFGRL? at least past the first track?
For after you listen to WLFGRL
youtube.com
I love both
sometimes people will like things that you don't and that is okay
My sides riding off into the sunset

Another one bites the dust
I mean, not that I WANT to, but if I want a copy it'll be close to $300.
such a good album
I wouldn't buy most of these albums period. Except Exmilitary and I could go maybe 40$ for that max.
I could buy a Whammy DT for 300$.
Yup

I emailed the label behind candy claws and they replied saying they were discussing releasing another print of this album
Fug this is good.
Definitely. Seems like something that may eventually get the RSD treatment.

>implying you actually have a future
Seems like of all, that one should have a vinyl pressing.
No :/ just said that they were discussing it and that they’d let me know if they moved forward with it. This was also just under a month ago
poorfag here. I’m just looking forward to when I can afford this
There's still hope
>doesnt know how to reverse image search OR read a filename
Stop spoonfeeding this faggot
>vinyl release for a digitally produced album
and they said vinyls aren't just Pogs for grown ups...
LIKE THE TIME I FLEW AWAY

Buy chainlink sir

Daily reminder that albums recorded and mastered digitally will always sound like shit, and people who buy vinyl releases of modern music are gigacucks. Vinyl isn't what makes the music sound better, but the fact it was recorded with analogue equipment. Hence, only pre-80s records are worth investing in.
nobrainer
You sound like the music equivalent of an incel
This
I'll sell you my copy for $50
Based. All of their shit got their prices jacked up to hell after LDA was released. All the bandwagon normies are collecting them now
Kino album cover
This
The Grifter OST.
my man
Why the fuck has it never been pressed
There was a rumour on Discogs a few years back that there was a repress in the works, but nothing came of it.
based. ignore the haters
punks don't care a shit about vinyl
Wait a second, I do.
It's $45. How fucking poor are you?
this
I would love to have these...
and I also really want Ozma's "Pasadena", the only album they haven't pressed on vinyl.
Is this anti-humor?
please tell me this is the australian band?
This is the biggest thread I've ever started. I just wanted to share some albums that I can't add to my collection but love a lot.
fuck no they came to my school like a month ago and their set just sounded unbelievably bad, especially after other bands sounded really great. like everything is way too distorted and loud to the point where i couldn't make out any song
the point is, buying a vinyl of an album like wolf girl defeats the purpose, and ignores the actual intentions of the artist in releasing that particular music digitally.
so buy earplugs y'turkey. also, obviously it sounded like shit at your school, they need particularly good sound systems for their stuff to sound right
sure, never discogs.com
i mean, he didn't need to use the term 'gigacucks', and there have definitely been analog-mastered albums since the 80s, but he's not wrong. if the music was mixed and mastered to sound best on CD, just buy the CD. it should be obvious
>look guys, I used the current word people use on twitter! I'm in touch and cool!
>haha i really showed him!
Found a very gently used copy of this for $5 recently at a local record store.
Digital recording doesn't inherently "sound" like anything. if a digitally recorded album sounds sterile or undynamic, that's a result of conscious aesthetic decisions in the studio and in the mastering process, not the recording medium.
I don't bother with vinyl but daily reminderto 50 year old bearded audiophiles that some people buy modern releases on vinyl because that's the format they enjoy and collect, not because they fetishize "analog sound" (which is entirely placebo anyway).
you bought little dark age on vinyl
but the point is it was mastered to sound best on a specific medium. it's not about the general sound quality, just the qualities of the actual recording. for instance, beatles albums (specifically Rubber Soul/Revolver) tend to sound kind of lacking on CDs/digital mediums, because they were largely mixed in such a way as to utilize the natural distortion from typical vinyl setups. newer albums are able to have way denser production than 30 years ago, because the higher fidelity of digital recording allows for more clarity than 4- or 8-track tape
>spending hundreds on inferior formats
>inferior formats
at least records don't get wiped by magnets
these
I’d settle for a digital version of this if anyone has it
this is the most embarrassing and pretentious thread I've seen in years. Jesus Christ, Yea Forums will never not be the cringiest board on the site
theses
holy shit this isnt on fucking vinyl what the fuck.
my man
closest thing to it is the samurai champloo vinyl :/
shut up broke boy
>Lamp
Absolutely based

>Ripping off another artist's sound is a good thing! And here's why!
You mean track?
the mystique is more fun than the actual album would be desu
machine girl hardly rips off of death grips and is more breakcore/d&b, not everything experimental is death grips.
Thanks I might get a hoodie
this
OP here, I understand that, but I collect vinyl. I'd just really love to be able to play one of my favorite albums on my best-sounding setup and have a big version of that fucking incredible cover art in my collection. I don't speak for anybody, but I'd guess a lot of people really collect vinyl rather than thinking it will sound better. some even think it sounds worse.
Wrong album. I posted Complete Discography, only produced three times, all on CD.
or lost forever by a corrupt drive.
But who wouldn't give anything to hear what original Godspeed sounded like?
I second that opinion. Literally right under WLFGRL for me. Love the direction he (she?)'s taking with the new stuff.

*snigger*... we aren't embarrassed. we welcome your derision, as it is of no consequence.
People like you are the cancer of Yea Forums. Album fags. You children literally care more about the cover than the music (which is usually fucking garbage).
Way to prove his point
you need to listen to more music
>vinyl
i see this album posted every other day and its nothing special thus its being shilled
