Love it, reminds me of a hot summer afternoon in the projects, sweaty palms and Xbox controllers. Oh man, killer guitar work, makes me wanna melt into my couch fucked on pills. Real spacey, empty headed fuckery.

Feels pretty oldschool, sounds cool. A bit muffled, but I suppose that's on purpose? Creepy, I like that. Great cold atmosphere. Those vocals are so fucking gnarly, sounds like they're emanating from a gutter in a rainstorm. Chill, makes me think of hippies frolicking in a lake. A bit monotonous, but that's probably what you were going for? Vocals sound a bit dry too, like they could use more reverb and delay or even phaser or something... but that's just my opinion, based on the psychedelic vibe haha. Interesting. Downloading so that I can listen to it in better quality in full later, because weird shit like this is really cool. comfs
the lo's could be way more in your face, but overall this would be sick to play out. I dj drone in BK alot, people love the shit. I'm gonna DL this and play it out
FEEDBACK (I'll comment on you others) The aesthetic and tone is very nice. I haven't listened to all of this yet, but from what I did hear you have some nice ideas. I'd drop a tab and chill out to this honestly. >86151957 Great stuff as always! Very chill, nice sounds, nothing too in the face, just a laid back vibe. I'd drop a tab to this too lol Great mix, very dirty and nasty vibe to the instruments that I dig. Reminds me of Failure and others like them.
I wanna know if the direction I'm taking my music is worth it. I was always used to playing guitar and always thought of myself as a guitarist songwriter type of musician but I feel like playing with vocals and synths might have something in it for me too because I can also play piano.
Not that anything I've made so far is noteworthy or original in any way but is there anything that interests you? in my new track?
The first track I linked is my older sound the second is the new one I'm thinking about exploring. Thanks.
This is great, nothing to criticise. I love noise that's more focused on facemelting low rumbles rather than razorsharp high frequencies. Pretty cool, seconding that one comment that it's a bit short. If you made it longer with "more" of something (even if remaining as minimalistic), it'd be even better. Now it just feels like it ends abruptly. Sounds depressing in a good way. Since it's so lo-fi, it has that kind of atmosphere, but a part of me wishes it was clearer and had more punch and was overall more hi-fi because then your talent could really shine. You guys remind me of some great bands! This song gives emo girls the semens. >Southside Warm. Love how it varies. Fuck yeah! Sounds kinda happy at times, which is interesting since it remains noisy and chaotic even then. Holy fucking shit, this is awesome!
My band just released our first EP. We are available on a couple sites so take your pick. Also, here are some social media links. If you follow us that would be such a huge help.
thanks for the feedback! yeah it couldve been longer, but it wouldve gotten repetative i kno without a doubt. short things make a longer lasting impact i feel

What program is easy to use to make piano and guitar songs? I'm not looking for something too in depth, I just wanna make some music for a game
Adrian Bailey
Yep. That's me. You've got some promising stuff here, in my opinion. Next time though, work on bringing your vocals up a little higher in the mix, and also more storytelling. I love that shit.
All in all, good stuff. Glad to be a patron of Firebrand

Shit man thanks so much. If you'd like to follow us on social media we post there a lot more. I will take your advice to heart.

I honestly would my man, but I have no social media. I can try to recommend you other places though.
soundcloud.com/user-920832561/jean-luc-jam Yes, I know my lead guitar work is pretty shoddy and off on note for note rhythm. I should practice it more, but I practice bass and rhythm guitar a lot more. Been playing for 4-5 months.
>ITT: we support, follow, share, and give constructive criticism to eachother on various websites for music sharing such as Bandcamp, Soundcloud, Youtube, and more. >Post a link to your site(s) and other anons follow/share/give feedback. where does it say to give little gay reccs like a faggot?
Cool. Drums sound a bit basic imho, I mean I could imagine if you had some weird fills and panning and whatnot, it could be better? For what it is, it's pretty cool. But it being what it is, that's not saying much since all bands like this sound exactly the same. That you dare to post it here is proof that you have balls (or that you don't know better), considering Yea Forums is the anti-fagcore brigade #2 (only behind Encyclopaedia Metallum), and if there's one thing this is, it's fagcore. No idea when I'd listen to it, but I would download it if it was free. :^) If you promote your music to underage girls, you'll get famous (and laid) quickly (if you haven't already; I wouldn't know), but at what cost? Is fame worth your reputation (and freedom)...? These are the questions bands like you have to ponder sooner or later. But yeah, it's very professional-sounding and mainstream as fuck, which is obviously what you're going for. >short things make a longer lasting impact i feel I think that's only true of fast songs with a lot of stuff going on? Interesting vocals, kinda reminiscent of Lennon in a weird way. Sounds cute and comfy, not something I'd listen to often, though. A little piece of me dies every time I hear vocalists like you (assuming you're one guy and you did the vocals) not doing weird ass shit music, but then I realise that vocalists like you are serious about their shit. It's kinda funny how this sounds so professional and theoretically good, but something about it is kinda offputting. Can't explain what, but it's not like it matters since you guys are famous and have no reason to care about a literal nobody's opinion. And it's not like I'm calling it shit, either, so... Weird, not bad. Really good for a first song. You play guitar well and your singing is pretty soulful, so if this is how you start... damn.

It has a nice wintery atmosphere and the speech sample is a nice addition. Overall it's too overcompressed imho since the kicks squash everything else, but maybe that's part of your aesthetic. Sounds fun, not my cup of tea at the moment at least, but not bad. I'd say it's a bit basic, could do with some additional layered melodies or something? Those detuned synths are a bit overbearing at times, but I'm sure that's intentional. Sometimes it's really cool, but at other parts it honestly gets a bit boring. I really wish it had guitars and bass, above all. I like how DIY it sounds, even if it doesn't sound that great. If you went noisier and added drums, it could be some fun noise rock! Way too monotonous imho, but nice sounds and sounds nice. Personally, I simply recc stuff I listened to before and liked. No point in repeating the same criticisms or praises again, I think. Comfy. Can't really criticise anything, just gonna say the same I say about everything: it could be better if it had drums and vocals?
Justin Perry
Hate to pry more since you already gave me a (You), but by "doesn't sound that great" do you mean it's atrocious or it's at least listenable / maybe good? It was recorded on a $20 microphone that's just about a step up from an iPhone. Can't cut out the acoustic sound of my electrics and what not. Took about 3 hours from recording the parts to editing / mixing. I'm more interested in improving my playing than editing. Like I said, I know my lead work could use some practice (phrasing was so-so in my opinion, but I know the note for note rhythm was off a lot on the lead), but I'm primarily a bass player. I do like noise rock, but I've been doing blues jams recently to try and build up my technique and theory. Thank you for the (You) though. Just want to know if it's still listenable at the least, been really trying to practice my improv and technique.
Isaiah Jackson
Well, I'm married, but my wife and I have a lot of threesomes with women so I guess that works. Regardless, I treat my music as the fine line between business and art, as all successful bands do. I probably won't be successful though. I just think a lot about how when I was 14 I had a lot of pent up anger and hurt inside me and bands like this helped me cope. All I want is to do that for someone, it's how you make long lasting connections and lifelong fans. I care a lot about the mental state of youth and I want to provide answers and solutions for them, so I suppose this is the route I've chosen. I really, wholeheartedly, and entirely appreciate the honesty and harsh criticism. All of the recording was done in my home studio and I've been really looking to make something like this, so I'm happy it sounds the way it does. It's what I wanted. Yikes, I guess it's just the music I like. I appreciate your input though, Mr. Fantano. Your reviews aren't as bad as everyone says.
Gabriel Lee
>by "doesn't sound that great" do you mean it's atrocious or it's at least listenable / maybe good? I just mean it's nothing special and kinda clunky, but not bad even if it has its "bad" moments; they kinda add to the DIY charm. >It was recorded on a $20 microphone It's nice that it sounds lo-fi in my opinion, it fits the clunkiness. >I'm more interested in improving my playing than editing Yeah, that's probably for the best if you want to be at least somewhat serious about your music unlike faggots like me who just do whatever the fuck for fun. >I'm primarily a bass player Yeah, it'd be pretty obvious even if you didn't say it. Just work on your guitar playing and you'll get better, unless you won't, but you probably will. I myself suck at playing guitar but still do it, so... >Just want to know if it's still listenable at the least It is. (I didn't want to follow you at first because I had a feeling you're a rabid white supremacist for some reason, but fuck it, I followed you... if you are a rabid white supremacist, after all... eh) >I'm married, but my wife and I have a lot of threesomes with women so I guess that works. W-what...? I have no idea what "that works" in this context refers to or why you'd go on the internet and tell lies like that, but whatever floats your boat. >Regardless, ... Ok, makes sense I guess. And just so you know, "fagcore" isn't an insult (at least coming from me), in case you thought it was.
Parker Cooper
Oh wait, did you mean you and your wife want to have threesomes with underage girls? Because if so... dude... I was implying that you SHOULDN'T fuck underage girls...
Kevin Morris
You're based, even though you didn't review my track...
Evan Carter
Well, if you want my shitty opinion... which is it?
Brody Jackson
I was referring to this:
>If you promote your music to underage girls, you'll get famous (and laid) quickly (if you haven't already; I wouldn't know)
Matthew Harris
I was also referring to that and making a joke.
Michael Green
So you do want to fuck underage girls? Because I was talking about getting laid with your underage fans, not with your wife (whether real or imaginary). And that's illegal and unethical by pretty much any standard, but something bands like you do all day long. It's fine to admit that you consider underage girls hot imho, at least I won't judge anyone for being attracted to whatever because I have some weird ass fetishes myself and have honestly seen a few attractive underage girls... but if you actually fucked someone under 16 (or whatever the age of consent is where you live), fuck you.
The drums are a bit meh and it overall feels like there isn't much happening, but the guitar (or is it a synth that sounds like guitar?) and bass are nice. Cool synth, too. However, it sounds exactly like those songs in the intros of some porn videos that are really annoying because they keep going on and on while the girl undresses and touches herself or whatever, and then it fades out. Thankfully your song doesn't awkwardly fade out like that, but I'm not sure if cutting off abruptly like that is better or even worse. I can't really enjoy it unironically since it just isn't my cup of tea, but clearly others like what you're doing so you must be doing it right, and like I said it does sound cool.
Jonathan Smith
Thanks for the criticism. It's 90% guitar with some bell synth. Porn is cool.

>it's not like it matters since you guys are famous Famous??? Hahaha, damn, I wish. What made you think that for a second? I hope don't come off as pretentious or self aggrandizing
Also: >this sounds so professional and theoretically good, but something about it is kinda offputting.
That's interesting to hear. I wish you could identify what sounds off to you, because, especially if you listened to our album "Foreign Breath", I kinda agree with you. I feel like we worked out the kinks a bit more on the release after that, "To Know Better". We've got new stuff coming out this year too, and im really excited for you all to hear it.
Only my second song so I'd love some feedback. Also I guess I need to start producing with speakers because with headphones there's layers to the song but when I listen with speakers it's just a blur in the background. Bit of a bummer because the accent guitar melody was nice. Anyways, thanks for listening.
New post hardcore/math rock/track. This thing goes in so many directions and is pretty abstract. A motherfucker sings and screams on it. Would love to hear some feedback from fans of harder music
no its to form little faggy cliques that ruin threads
Xavier Peterson
I feel like you're trying to match two different styles and it doesn't come out well because the metal stuff sounds way out of place. Maybe just go straight mathrock and clean vocals? They are really good. Obvious talent here I just think you need to pick a genre.
Have you heard a great big pile of leaves? beginning kind of sounds like their first album.
Leo Robinson
Which post is yours? I'll listen and review it gladly to give you some love, brother.
Hudson Robinson
Our first ever music video! Would love some critisism!
I think the production quality could use some work. I know it's intended to be lo-fi-ish and all, but something about the way it's mastered doesn't sit right with me. I think your levels are off somewhere, I'm just not entirely sure where.
The beat and melody is catchy, but the vocals leave something to be desired. It almost sounds like you're doing Filthy Frank/Pink Guy style rap, but unironically, and I actually kind of like that.
All in all, keep working at it, you have an interesting flow.
Zachary Nguyen
Also, if you'd like to know who I am in here so you can give me some harsh and honest criticism I am
Oliver White
Hey thanks for the feedback man, btw tho I’m not the rapper. I used popular rap vocalist sosmula’s vocals for this track just to give it something for people to listen to. Thanks for listening
Jason Anderson
Reuploaded with much better drums. Post hardcore/math rock Wirth lots of dynamics in style
what drug should I do to get into this liking the low key mumble rap vibe. I would actually say you should turn up the vocals, and maybe do a few more vocal takes to switch it up. rly cool mixtape tho
