damn these are some solid picks; have you listened to the other Albini stuff (Shellac, Rapeman, the stuff he produced when he was in college?)

I like this chart and I'm shamelessly stealing from it going forward; try something hyper minimalist like Eleh

this is another steal-from chart; you need to get some sleep user, go listen to something gentle and calming

Attached: topsters2(2).jpg (3506x2530, 1.22M)

That's wild, the second line of your chart is almost the exact same as my recently added on spotify

first answer question if you even enjoy listening to music at all, or if you're not trying to hard to explore out, if youre gonna force it too much youre gonna burn out and get bored with music
you can explore my chart for mix of chilly ambients, metals of many subgenres, melancholic electro and many others
i recommend kinoko teikoku, red vox, marsen jules, tesseract, just have fun with it man

I take all recs regardless of genre, surprise me.
Bonus points for concept records, atmospheric, with fat bass and quirky melody.

you might like Lard Free - s/t
or
Träd Gräs Och Stenar - DJungens Lag

not really sure what to rec desu

this is amazing - HoMM IV soundtrack, Vinesauce albums, Vektor and finally some love for A7X.
check out Sleep/Talk by Okkotonushi, a hidden gem which also, I think, gets almost all your bonus points

I remember i was watching VODs of both Joel and Vinny and i was like yeah yeah stop shilling your music its probably bad anyway, but then i accidentally got to listen to both records and found that although they're not necessarily complex or outstanding in their genre - they're still fun and guys who made them know what they're doing.
Heroes IV OST is one of those pieces of music that i would show to people being contrarian about OST being a real music. Amazing orchestral passages utilizing many instruments, fantastic operatic vocals, even sax at some point.
Nightmare is peak level A7x for me, it has long songs, crazy drumming, fun riffs, dark theme - closest A7x's been to making concept proggy record.
I will check your rec (my queue is enormous) and i encourage exploring rest of my chart, you'll probably like big chunk of it.

Powerviolence, hardcore, screamo and emo. Fantastic taste my friend.

>closest A7x's been to making concept proggy record
what did you think about The Stage? It's got even more prog influence and that 15 minute finale's also there (but it's a bit underwhelming, considering how every second of Save Me is so tight and fully realized)
yeah, I saved your chart, several other albums got me interested

The Stage is alright A7x album, they got very solid drummer now so they will be putting out good stuff hopefully. I loved Higher and Roman Sky, very solid memorable songs. I'm also through first track on Sleep/Talk, i'm getting solid vibes so far, reminds me of the stuff i would listen in high school with the specific type of emo screaming. It's good so far.

glad you like it so far, tracks 2 through 4 is probably my favorite part of the album

That Shimmer track, damn. Very good ambienty, crazy vox, bipolar rythm. I like, i will save it to my bookmarks so i dont forget about it. And hopefully they will have their record on spotify someday because im a lazy fuck and spotify is platform i happen to use.
