Basically this. Their sound can be experimental, beautiful and fun at the same time.
And although they changed lines very often with each member adding something new, their sound remained "Crimson".
For me it's "Red" and "Thrak", but "In the Court", "Larks" and "Islands" are also favorites of mine

this but unironically, fripp is filtering all the plebs with each new iteration of the band
