THE RUSH! THE LIGHTS!
They draw you
EXCITED! DELIGHTED!
They form you
CREATING! DICTATING!
The new you
OUTDATING! PREVENTING!
That old you
The ending of time
3 steps and you're mine
Remembering those you left behind
It plays with your mind
It says you are fine...
Not needing the ones you left behind
PROTEST! DETEST!
Avoid them
IGNITE! FIERCE FIGHT!
Destroy them
IT'S HARD! I KNOW!
To live here
WITH US! SECURE!
The old ways are near

what the fuck this name even is
amercanimus my ass
God, I wish this degenerate would fuck off my country already. La France aux Français.
underrated post
Basé et rougepilulé
Avsky are also very good
My favorite Behemoth album is Sventevith.
Does anyone know of anything similar too Paysage d'Hiver with that ambient post rock feeling
Any recs for something similar to Darkspace or Paysage?
unfortunately you've already found the peak of a relatively small niche. There are a few things similar to what you want but they're far less compelling than anything Mockl has had a hand in.
Try Gnipahålan, Bekëth Nexëhmü, Bagatur.
Not post-rock but ambient. Also I really wouldn't say that Paysage d'Hiver has a post-rock feel either.
I'm always on the lookout for good punky black metal.
Lots of Finnish black metal bands do it well (Goatmoon, Riivaus, White Death). Drowning the Light also does it pretty well.
People always tell me to listen to NSBM when I mention this. While Absurd and Bilskirnir do it well, the other bands that I think usually fit under this heading (Command, Der Stürmer, etc) are not really that great in my opinion.
Bone Awl, Sump, Octobre, are also decent.
Anyway, if anyone has some good obscure punky black metal recommendations, I'd love to hear them.
What tracks with mighty riffs are there? Azaghal's version of Black Legions of Satan is a fucking awesome song
I'm trying to watch Lords of Chaos now, but it's so hard.
I have to pause every 30 seconds because the cringe in unbearable
Where do you watch it?
I torrented it
Having a gf isn't kvlt.
It's a shame because Darkspace riff way too hard and I need more.
bilskirner has another project called Ulfhethnar, a few tracks are pretty punk but not all.
have you considered crusty bm
blackmonolith.bandcamp.com
dodsrit.bandcamp.com
Here you go.
A little bit. Martyrdöd is decent. Hotbild is pretty damn good actually.
I think the problem is a lot of "crusty black metal" bands are quite a bit more crust than black metal. I will definitely check those links out, though. Thanks for the recs.
Ulfhethnar sounds pretty good btw.
y'into black noise?

One of my favorite band names.
Dimmu is unironically pretty based up to abrahadabra
The first couple burzum records are the only BM worth listening to desu, all other is derivative trash.
Same, I love such over-the-top names.
>degenerate
nigga you might catch 32 stab wounds to the head speaking nonsense like that
No matter how terrible they become they'll never taint the grandeur of The Mourning Palace.
Recc me your softest forest-fucking ABM. Currently listening to Gallowbraid Autumn 1. Already familiar with Agalloch, Panopticon, Wayfarer, Hermodr, and Evergreen Refuge.
For actual BM I recc Seignur Voland - Consumatum Est.
Check out Bagatur
Nice, the drums are so muted they almost sound like fingers on a thigh or soft rain on the side of a horse skin tent.
Yep. It's really the softest black metal I can think of.
Woods of Ypres early stuff is black metal but later is more gothic but u still might like em
'Will to give' is interesting but I do find the clarity of the sound somewhat challenging. Emyn Muil's 'Hail to the black sword' is very washed out.
I've really been enjoying Severoth this winter. Very comfy music, cold atmospheric bm with nice ambient passages.
France can eat a big fat dick
>snowflake bm
Lmfao all black metal is basedboy snowflake larper faggotry hahahaha
You stupid pussy
Nice, very good recc, I would definitely freeze to death in a snow drift to this.
Blackened noise recs? Ive listened to Stallaggh and thought that was good
