Take the classical pill Yea Forums
Id rather take the Bluegrass pill
any classical with shoegaze influence?
It's all so long and the production is outdated
Remove the OSTs and this'd be an alright chart
Git longer attention span you spastic adhd fag.
based classical ubermanschs taking over the board
I could devote that much time to them, I have the attention span, but it never feels like time well spent. Life is finite, why spend it listening to crap I don't enjoy? Why does it deserve it? I can learn their techniques in a book without hearing their applications of said technique like I'm listening to Radiohead. They're dead, they won't mind.
Absolutely based
>chart doesn't start on ride of the valkyries
trash
I am not even a self professed classical fan, I just took band in school and have already heard everything on this list outside the OSTs it's all pretty introductory, it doesn't include some of the composers even I can recognize like Brahms, Stravinsky, verdi, or lizst. Tchaikovsky is my favorite and I still have never gotten a good recommendation of any composer that sounds similar online that I was not already aware of.
What do the real classical fans of Yea Forums have to offer, I've seen you guys spamming shit all night. Is there a better chart or some of you with some real knowledge here?
i like it.
How do I into classical without looking like a pretentious hipster faggot?
thanks for the chart, will check out
naw man. put strauss before overrated Vivaldi
oh and you also put bach after Vivaldi, you fucker.
not only that but you didn't even mention the Brandenburg Concertos. how are you this retarded
Nice sleeping pills man, I needed to rest
>taking the modern and simple route
Horrible chart, this kind of thinking is why there are so many Mozart underrating cretin that unironically listen to effeminate Russians and firetrucks in /classical/ now.
People who don't read think books are boring.
Also this chart is horrible.
Better?
No, scrap it.
No. It's horrible no matter what composers you add. What does a vague descriptor like "chaos" say between Beethoven and Strainvksy? Mozart is influenced by Haydn (Beethoven's teacher) yet Beethoven isn't? Johann Strauss II with more rhythm (whatever that means) equals jazz? "Solo" Vivaldi (a baroque composer of many concertos) is somehow John Dowland (a renaissance lute composer)? What
They’re some weak osts
>Mozart is influenced by Haydn (Beethoven's teacher) yet Beethoven isn't?
It's not an evolutionary map lmao. Christ almighty. You don't really expect someone listening to Beethoven's 5th wanting to jump into Dowland?
Needs more contemporary classical. Ives and Bartok
some old charts
The format is shit, I just pointed out a few flaws. It looks nonsensical and confusing, especially to the beginner. Scrap it.
>glenn gould
D R O P P E D
Well if you can introduce a better format then please enlighten us
>This is so messy (not in a bad sense)
wut
Sorry it wasn't for this plebby thread
Any classical which sounds like Weezer?
Yeah there's a lot of classical music that sounds bad.
Start with the monks.
