I loved his second verse on Strange Ways, but otherwise what are some philosophical or particularily deep tracks from him? His lyrics never stroke me as being that deep
Radiohead
>nazi lyrics
"Strange Ways" is a fantastic song, and definitely his best, honestly wish he would've done more 'serious' songs like that that do have a deep meaning instead of fritos cheetos and doritos

Have you never heard Louis logic "the ugly truth" or perhaps the entirety of immortal technique's catalog? Atmosphere (slug) also raps about some serious things when he isn't moaning about girls.
Idk what you and the other user are talking about MF DOOM drops nothing but jewels if it isn't a line of him clowning another rapper or the industry in general

Dance with the Devil by Immortal Techinque
I suggest giving if it a listen all the way through, it’s an incredible story that almost hurts to listen to.
If you listen to him in interviews you'll notice that his intentions are often very reactionary against trends in hip-hop. One thing he's really against is how ubiquitous seriousness has become in hip-hop. He's intentionally goofy, even on serious tracks, because he really values the more fun brand of hip-hop—think De La Soul
Tom Verlaine (Television)
lmfao this
opinion was immediately dismissed
such an alpha Chad list it's insane, how can one man have a penis so thick
zzz most rap songs sound the same except for a few acts
lætitia sadier
Everyone knows this song. If you want something similar, but Post-Hardcore, listen to La Dispute - King Park.
Unless you were being ironic, in which case, shut up
I always thought Jesse Lacey wrote some good stuff, especially in Brand New's 2nd and 3rd album.
Jesse Lacey is an incredible songwriter. Lyrics are top tier as well.
