Why does this shit cost $160? Even for wireless headphones, that's high. They can't actually be a higher quality than all the other earbuds out there. What happened to the good old days when Apple earbuds were $20 a piece and their devices had headphone jacks.

Fuck that noise. Get the Audio Technica bluetooth m50. They sound great, you can listen to a device from the next room over, and they charge up fast

For wireless earbuds that’s pretty good, don’t know what you’re expecting, they don’t have an ugly wire connecting them with a battery between them like other brands, so it’s truly wireless.

Wired headphones do not have a touch command in the earbud “head”, are using an old obsolete technology in this day and age and are limited by wire length and are an hinderance, and the mics for most wired earbuds suck ass.

All the alternatives to the AirPods don’t look as nice and are around the same price

Get the chinese knockoffs, i12 tws. It's all made in the same factory anyway.

idk about earbuds but my bluetooth headphones had a ~24h battery life when I bought them and are at 16h now, 2 years later. 5h seems like shit, even when you account for the earbuds's size.

Koss PortaPros are $40 and sound way the fuck better. I don't care if it has a cable. It's never caused me any problems.

AirPod user here. I work in a fairly excluded part of an office and have access to music for 80% of my shifts. Personally think they’re ugly so I have no desire to flex with them elsewhere. Old school Apple earbuds never stayed in my ear but the newer contoured ones over the last few years are the only earbuds I can wear for 7 hours with no fatigue. They don’t sound anywhere near as good as my Senns but the convenience sure is great in the work environment, where my entire setup is wireless. They get the job done. The 4-5 hour battery life is on the better end of Bluetooth earbuds in the current market. Popping them in the case before I step out for a break or lunch will fully recharge them though, so it’s not really a hassle. I do think they look dweeby though.

It's a status, the same as a Rolex or a Gucci t-shirt. Obviously, you can get away cheaper and practical alternative but status though. You don't have to be a high IQ cracker to get this basic ass shit.

Not for everyone. Maybe 2-3 people see me use mine here at work and couldn’t give half a shit. No desire to impress anyone with what I choose to put in my ears. No more a status indicator than my shoes or shirt.
