I like they're new album better.

I think they're both good for different reasons. I think AM has higher replayability and will be remembered as a more substantial album but DESU&C is still cool af tho.

Their first album is their only good one, everything else they've done is dogshite.

the UK rock/indie scene shifted to the northeast, a region the rest of the UK seems to institutionally hate, so it doesn't receive any publicity

To this day I still don't get how plebs found AM hot shit but T B H boring

AM is their only commercial album. You can see the shift, after humbug ales is tired of being the emotional introvert and wants to get into the global mainstream to reach a broader audience, but fails with sias. Then he comes up with am and its a masterpiece. He also started to fake his personality with those obnoxious behaviours to make everyone believe that he is an extroverted hot shit, and americans believed it. And that he ran into writers block because he was, well , faking it. Trying ti be someone he wasn't. Now he's back to his original cool self.

Teleman are the only good band in this list

How can you like Teleman and not like Dutch Uncles?

>AM is their only commercial album

Maybe in the US, but here in the UK every single one of their albums got to number one. Back in 2005/2006 Dancefloor was absolutely everywhere, and their debut album was even more talked about than AM was. They headlined Glastonbury barely a year after their debut came out.

Yes i'm talking about global audience

based

>I think AM has higher replayability
Couldn't disagree more. I've already listened to DESU&C 10x more than AM.

Bit too derivative + the vox sound bad with all the reverb in an otherwise pretty clean mix

>tfw they actually became the very thing they took the piss out of in fake tales of san francisco

They took the piss out of people that acted like they were rock stars but were just playing shit gigs in a pub. When was the last time the Monkeys played in a pub??

this album is gay. major props to them for ditching that formula and making Tranquility Based.

They pretty much ditch their sound after every album and do something different the next time

true enough. they could've made something similar to AM, but instead made comfy night walking album

I feel humbug and sias are underrated. New tlsp album when though?

Humbug is way more consistent and has higher highs than Suck it and See imo, but the last track on SIAS is amazing
