I don't think he opposes capitalism, or supports Maduro. I think he dislikes the US getting involved in internal affairs of other countries. USA has a history of meddling in smaller countries affairs and sometimes appointing murderous assholes just because they favor them, and then saying they were trying to help. It's obvious the only reason USA is ''helping'' the people of venezuela is because the other dude would be more willing to give then some control over there, and so they take Venezuela away from Russia.
