Why are Rolling Stone's albums so bad?

They have a few 10/10 songs but I can't stand their albums. Bunch of boring bluesy shit

Sticky Fingers is a very good album start to finish

Queens Of The Stone Age is how I expected and wanted them to sound like
Only good Rolling Stones album is Sticky Fingers, the rest just becomes boring country rock, it's unfortunate.

It's their only album that's like that

I would say Beggar's Banquet too. Exile is Main Street is great, but it does drag in a few places. A lot of their others are mostly great with just one or two songs I could do without. Let it Bleed is a near masterpiece, but I think Monkey Man was one of the worst songs they ever did.

They made pretty good albums up to Tattoo You

I've never felt more disgust

Terrible tasre.

The Stones were a sloppy ass bar band. That's why bar bands cover them so easily. It's also the reason why their recordings don't sound as polished as bands that were more focused on the recording studio like Zep, the Who or late period Beatles. You don't hear bar bands successfully covering that shit very often because it's really hard to reproduce live. But the Stones are easy because most of their records are not production extravaganzas - they're more a matter of flying a bunch of mics around the room and capturing the sound of a vibey but imprecise band playing live.

Their Brian Jones era stuff like Aftermath and Between the Buttons is great but for some reason everyone praises their boring buttrock albums like Exile on Main St

Brian Jones a cute

Blues rock is low iq shit

bc brian jones is dead

what is "high iq" rock?

prog and krautrock

kek. More like low testosterone rock.

their five year stretch from Beggar's Banquet to Exile on Main St. has the only RS STUDIO ALBUMS overall worth listening to. And even then Exile is praised as this awesome album and clearly their best when it's a bloated, overrated slog (as are most double-albums).
Overall their best album is Sticky Fingers, followed by Let It Bleed, Beggar's Banquet, and Exile in a distant fourth.

Some Girls is great album.

you got rats on the West Side
Bed bugs uptown
What a mess this town's in tatters, I've been shattered
My brain's been battered, splattered all over Manhattan

Go ahead, bite the Big Apple, don't mind the maggots,

Are you fucking retarded? They're the best thing that ever happened to music

UH SHADOOBIE

Some Girls is my fave Stones album. Coked out NYC disco Stones is where it at.

This

The stones are a singles band.

They were a singles band up to Aftermath (almost every band was), but they were an album band after that.

Albums were like that back then. 3 or 4 great tracks surrounded with filler.

3/10 not even mad.

They did great covers on their albums though.

Not really

>The Beatles vs. The Rolling Stones
lol what a fucking joke

This

What are you talking about? The Stones have at least 5 8/10+ albums.

Let it Bleed
Beggars Banquet
Sticky Fingers

Thsee are the best stones albums. They have many more great albums but those 3 are what they will be remembered for.

The best bands/artists of classic rock are the ones that have 3 massive albums.

Pink Floyd: DsotM , The Wall , WYWH
Dylan: Bringing it all Back Home , BoB , Highway 61
Led Zeppelin: IV , HotH , Physical Graffiti
Beatles: Sgt. Peppers , White Album , Abbey Road

Excuse me, you mean Monkey Man was one of the best songs they've done. Genuinely though, why do you feel this way? Very curious

Tattoo You
