the bottom line is Coronavirus is a cause of death that is highly contagious. Highly contagious death is spreading worldwide where a few months ago it was not. Most cases are likely not recorded, but most deaths likely are, so taking the recorded cases vs. recorded deaths as being the same as total cases vs. total deaths is obviously a distorsion.

My dad is 65 years old and has high cholesterol, right now he is most likely to die from a heart attack, but he could still live another 20 years. If he gets the coronavirus, it is likely that he could die from it simply because the virus causes you respiratory complications. There is no reason why he should die like that.
