There's a bar that says "image hash". Click and drag an image from your pc over to it. It will auto fill the hash. Hot search. If nothing comes up you need to find an existing archives version of the image and hit the box on the left side of it. Choose "view same" or "search google"

this is a good question. some of the ones i come across have potentially sketchy redirects and attempted popups if you click a link/file

I just tested with a random image and I got a couple archive results.
then I googled "Yea Forums archive" the first result is
>4archive.org
which i think is the official one. but my image wasn't on it.
it was on the site that comes up second for that search

I clicked on some stuff and navigated a bit and nothing questionable happened.
The other archive I got a hit for was called
>archiveofsins.com
that one didn't appear to do anything fishy either, but it doesn't index high in the search.
This isn't the most certain way to determine whether they're reliable or not... but I don't know what else to do. Looks like there's just a million archives for this site, some malicious, some not?

and for whatever reason 4archive doesn't seem to have posts from that recent, only up to 2017, and the results for the image are 2018 and 2019.
that barchive site is sketchy. lots of redirects/popups.
