Looked up 2ch to see if it was real then found out Yea Forums was Similar but in english.

It was always like that to a degree but today is on another level. 90% of the catalog is fap threads with LARPing autists pretending random girls they saved from the internet are girls they know in real life. There was a lot more time-wasting shit threads that kept you entertained. The fucking losers posting non-stop fap threads pretending they know random girls, the BBC posters and trannies posting here make up most of the board now.

2014 Some guy in it school was on here and always talked about it. Went to look for myself and kinda never left.

Back in the mid 2000s I was big into WoW. Over summer breaks I'd be up into the wee hours of the morning grinding my warlock to get to 60. As we all know, vanilla WoW was a grindfest and I could only do it for 14 hours per day before I'd get bored. I'd go to the WoW forums and they had an offtopic section full of random stuff, early meme sharing and whatnot. Something kept popping up in peoples' posts that seemed to spark a lot of mysterious conversation like "rules 1 and 2" and "we've said too much already" which naturally sparked my intrigue. After a few weeks I finally traced it back to Yea Forums and I've been coming here ever since. The next year I met a guy at my school who was also a Yea Forumstard and we hit it off.

People were posting "Yea Forums" and "Yea Forums" in random ways which is what got me curious. Back in those days google didn't just bring you straight to Yea Forums so it was rewarding to find it for myself. I ended up getting perma banned from the WoW forums for participating in a "let's raid X website" thread. I appealed the ban after 10 years and they just lifted it no questions asked.

Old video game blog during SOPA, came during 2012 and stayed.
