[Help] Has anyone ever had anything like this happen before? Took some adderall last night probably like 40-60 mg(recently diagnosed with ADHD) and started messing around on my pc. I remember opening GTA, played it for a while, alt-tabbed, opened FL Studio and started working on making some music. It seemed like 20 minutes had gone by and something startled me. I looked at the clock and it was 6:30 pm this night and my body feels like death, my mouth is dry and i had been in my chair for over 14 hours straight and it legit felt like a few minutes. This is freaking me the fuck out like how could i just jump forward in time like that, I didnt have anything to drink or get up to take a shit and i have no memory of what the hell i actually did for that long sitting here or how this is even possible

not op but i get this way (above) when im simply high. smoking weed has gotten me more focused than adderall ever did except it doesnt improve my panic nor does it make it worse
A bit but probably just from being still for that long, i do remember before it all went blank that i kept noticing my fingers were sore from typing and i would keep reassuring myself that i would be done in a few minutes. I guess this was spanning over hours without me realizing it and i just never stopped or noticed the sun come up or go down
So how many songs did you write? If you didn't do anything for 14 hours then that's your problem. If you were motzart and wrote 63 number 1 hits then what's the problem?
Thats the problem i wasn't concentrated like normal adderall it was like a complete black out and i dont remember what i did at all if anything after a certain point
What happens if during that time you made a Grindr account and dudes are planning on coming over to fuck you?
Check your internet history and phone you could have done so.e really fucking questionable shit, pedo stuff or rape you lost lots of time and blacked out or think of something you dont want getting out that you said

Yep, that's meth. You were deep in your own headspace and time just kinda forgot about you. It's an unsettling experience, but you should be fine and I wouldn't worry about having done something regrettable. You most likely just sat there thinking wayyyy in-depth about the music you were making. Don't worry too much, drink lots of water, you'll feel like yourself again in a day or two.

Dude, if this is your starting tritration dose, your doctor started you waaaay too high, time skips arent normal. You should talk with your psychiatrist and get him to tritrate you from the lowest dose possible, the ideal dose of up to 10% of people is even lower than the smallest dose commercially available. Also: dont go to fucking Yea Forums for medical advice, at least go to r/adhd first.
I took adderall for about 5 years straight, draw some pics or something so you can at least look back on what you did. One time I cleaned my car for 8 hours straight and didn't even notice. If you think it's too bad, just quit.. that's what I did

I was given a months worth of 10 mg but I've been taking more and more because 10 doesn't do shit
If 10 isn't doing it for you then let your doctor know. I honestly got diagnosed with ADHD just bc I wanted adderall and I eventually learned to regret ever taking it

Or maybe it wasn't the right molecule, some people have a bad time with one molecule but they are fine with the other. Or you might be in the unlucky 20% of people that dont respond to stimulants, and need to try non-stimulant medication

You will be taking this shit for the rest of your life if you really want to overcome your adhd, take a couple months to find the correct dose instead of shotgunning it and risk addiction to literal meth.
I can understand easily being startled at how much time you lost while in the zone but i am thinking your dose kind of fucked you since your new to it.
it's best to understand how your body reacts to a drug before diving in, this way you don't put your body or mind in harm while doing it. experiment with doses, or maybe keep a log and remind yourself of your activities

Was perscribe briefly, but lost insurance and stopped getting pills and continuing my journey of medication.
I’ve tried pretty much every adhd med without doctor approval though, none of them really work very well. It’s putting a bandaid on your issue, not actually solving it.
Plus you literally become a speed addict. Don’t let big pharma fool you into thinking this is much better and less harmful than shit like meth and cocaine, it’s all pretty damn similar, and you will feel like shit often.
Truthfully drugs won’t make your issues go away. You gotta work on it on your own man.
