So Americans how is that fantastic health service you have going?
6 deaths and more cases and rising for the coronavirus. Guess the stories were true people were being turned away because they can't afford or have insurance to cover the 2 week+ stay.
Bullshit, other than non emergency elective procedures, the US requires all ERs to admit you for emergency health care, regardless of ability to pay.I've had the flu, broken bones ect in several states, and been admitted w/out insurance. They bill you though, but seldom collect from poor fags...they write it off as a loss...
Adrian Turner
It's funny how the rich won't finance anything. They throw a boomerang in the air and Don't expect it to come back to them.
Levi Torres
The leftist CDC ALLOWED sicked people onto planes WITH healthy people.
The problem is you leftists are mentally challenged.
Julian Brooks
Lets hope you are right, because right now its about to explode in cases because people were walking about with it. So expect over this week the numbers right now are 100 cases to over 1000 by Friday. And more deaths.
As I will be brutally honest 80%+ of Americans are actually overweight, 33% of those 80% are obese+. That isn't good for a lung destroying virus.
Justin Brown
>read something they didn't like >"wahhhhhhhh lefties/libetards wahhhhhhh"
2020
Shit son you need to stop being an ignorant paranoid boifat, im not liberal or leftist. Get fucking rekt.
So you admit you know literally nothing about the US healthcare system.
Jack Green
I do know about it, its shit, it's ranked #11 in the world.
While countries you yanks consider 3rd world are having a higher recovery rate, you are trailing behind, and you are about to explode in cases and more deaths.
I will laugh my head off when your POTUS tries to come up with another excuse and pretend everything is under control.
Evan Johnson
it's all good man they got pence on it and he's thinking and praying hard as heck
Nathaniel Hernandez
>So Americans how is that fantastic health service you have going? We don't have one of those though, so who have you been talking to?
Joshua Anderson
You've proven you know nothing. Hospitals in the US have been required to treat emergency patients since at least the 1950s, regardless of their financial situation.
And #11 in the world? That's your example of terrible? And even that is based on biased statistics, that don't take into account sociological and other factors unrelated to to the qualify of medical care itself. When it comes to leading edge care, the US is the undisputed world leader, with far more medical research, new innovative treatments, and new drugs than any other country. There are numerous problems with the system, but you managed to hit literally none of them. That's just sheer ignorance on your part.
Aiden Davis
It is, considering you yanks love to think paying a premium useless price for health care = the best in the world but it isn't.
You know you could pay for a holiday to switzerland (#2 in the world), pay for your health care, and still have plenty of left over money.
You also pay stupid prices for cheap meds, I was in Ohio and had to pay just shy of $11 for 2 paracetamol tabs. I coulda have went to a 7/11 and bought 16 for $1 or less.
Henry Foster
Don't worry EU, you're already surrounded. enjoy the waiting list faggot
Anthony Flores
Once again, you're just displaying your complete and total ignorance. It's shocking that people like you think they're experts, when you provide no real data, the few bits your do provide trivially proven wrong, and you can't even come up with analogies and comparisons that make sense.
Anthony Torres
I did provide data, actual data, not your fantasy world probability chart.
Says someone who is from a country with far more cases? Check your autism nigger
Jaxon Young
user with a brain
Tyler Carter
evidence or stfu faggot. You can't just say shit like that without sources
Isaiah Davis
Not more nope less than half of yours.
Zachary Williams
No, you compared my healthcare to a holiday to Switzerland. That's nonsense, because you know nothing about me. It doesn't illustrate any general principles, because you literally provided no solid benchmarks we can use for a comparison.
And then you said you have to pay $11 for meds, when you could have bought them at another store for cheaper. That's not data, that's an incomplete anecdote from which we can draw no conclusions. The amount you paid was probably a premium, because you went to some emergency care service, instead of just buying it over the counter. Which is perfectly reasonable, and how the world works. If you buy a 20 oz soda at a 7/11, it'll cost more than buying a 2L bottle at Walmart.
Carter Collins
Yes, you're quite the baby.
Gabriel Thompson
Poor quality leftist bait. You would not be turned away for having public health threat number 1, nor for any essential procedure. It's true that you can't get free sex changes like you eurocucks like, however.
Noah Parker
already saged, but interesting there's way more deaths in italy than here
Robert Brooks
The point is paracetamol is manufactured from the same place, if you check the back of two different packets one cheap and one expensive they share the same product barcode because its made the same, you pay more for the "brand".
And the US HS brand is expensive as fuck for something cheap. That is the point.
I thought most Americans knew this?
Thomas Campbell
Still not leftist, only because it hurts your ears and eyes you screech leftist because its like your mythical shield or something.
America is about to go the same path unfortunately. And there is nothing you can do to control it over such a large landmass.
Blake Myers
USA are far better prepared then Germany.
Our healthcare minister Jens Spahn is totally incompetent. Getting tested is 150€. Jens Spahn says, everything is under control and we are well prepared. Meanwhile people empty the supermarkets. People coming back from Italy with coughing, fever and other symptoms are NOT getting tested. They get sent around until maybe someone tests them for 150€. Several stories of this.
Jason Anderson
>has the sudden urge to play Plague again
Lucas Sullivan
I do know healthcare here is shit (namely the prices), and what can be thanked is how retardedly our govt handles taxpayer money in their attempts to socialize healthcare.
Christian Carter
Do you really want to talk about drug pricing? Because you clearly no knowing about it.
There's been a rising wave of reports about the dangers of generic drugs, due to manufacturing conditions in places like India. So there is an argument for paying for a brand, which is made in more controlled conditions.
Or you're trying to talk about the prices of drugs in the US in general, that's one of the real problems. Drug makers have to recoup both their research and manufacturing costs. Each pill might be cheap to make, but to create the drug in the first place often costs a lot of money. Due to government enforced monopolies in other countries refusing to pay much over the manufacturing costs, the US is the only outlet most drug manufacturers have to recoup their research costs. So the reason drugs are cheap in the US is because the US is subsidizing their actual costs.
Kayden King
PROOF that this is NOTHING: It's possible that the Chinese government could cover up and hide hundreds of thousands of deaths. But by now, tens or hundreds of thousands would be dying in Japan and other parts of Asia, and it would be IMPOSSIBLE to cover it up since they have a free and open internet. The fact that there is no proof or evidence of tens of thousands of people dying in Japan is proof that this is NOTHING.
Who knows, maybe China faked the virus as an excuse to kill off millions of Chinese citizens. That would explain why the virus has barely touched anyone outside of China. Cases outside of China are literally less than 1000.
Jason Robinson
I hate to be the party pooper, but the only deaths so far were people with compromised immune systems, like older people. How's the EU going, open borders make it spread quickly.
Jacob Ward
>South Korea, Iran, Italy are over 1000
Connor Allen
>The leftist CDC ???????????? user you really gotta lay off the fucking conspiracy theories holy shit
What's with all of the shills posting this weak ass bait?
Anthony Murphy
you are completely wrong. there are already thousands of cases all over the world... more than 1000 people outside china have already died
Cameron Lewis
>So Americans how is that fantastic health service you have going? Who says we have fantastic health service? We have shit third world healthcare that we pay a fortune for.
Kayden Roberts
>poor user who has no job or anything of value because he's a welfare parasite There, I fixed that for you.
Gabriel Edwards
>The leftist CDC Holy fuck. I've seen some pathetic brainwashed morons on Yea Forums before but you win this month's prize!
Got the least amount of infected and dead than the rest of the world
Bentley Fisher
>6 deaths All in a single nursing home in WA. The entire US health care system is to blame.
Julian Bennett
OK, how about we rephrase that according to the facts. Among 11 comparable first world countries studied. The US ranks 11th for health outcomes, equity and quality. In other words: LAST PLACE.
Blake Cooper
Jokes on you fuckface. I have Medicare because I'm schizophrenic.
Parker Hill
>6 dead from coronavirus in the US >7 recovered from coronavirus Those are some pretty good odds amirite?
...and in the scheme of things, 11/195 in the world. Let's compare population densities to square miles to better assess the quality of care available per person at any given moment.
Julian Nguyen
So you're saying Americans need to compare their health care to third world countries to have a chance at not looking incompetent?
Lucas Davis
Since the faggot making the claim that being ranked #11 is terrible didn't provide a citation, we can't directly criticize the study. But we can safely draw the conclusion that it has the same flaws as nearly all those studies.
For instance, the US has a high rate of obesity, which impacts a broad array of health outcomes. Which means, even if the medical care is superior, we can reasonably expect metrics like lifespans to be poorer. Or how the US treats problematic pregnancies, and how it measures infant mortality. The US tends to go to extraordinary measures compared to other countries, that are more likely to be abort. The US also counts mortality from the instant of birth, while many other countries don't count deaths in the first couple weeks. The higher risk babies surviving and more babies counted add up to much poorer metrics, even when the care is superior.
Most of those studies are biased pieces of propaganda because they don't correctly control for sociological factors and different definitions, and therefore they don't measure the qualify of the healthcare being provided.
