Girl, I'm about 5'10, 180 lbs. I fasted for damn near a year and lost like 60 pounds. Sometimes id forget to eat and stuff occasionally but i did lose weight from fasting. Waited until after noon to eat and didnt snack. I didnt change my food, just the times i ate. Unfortunately, I'm not toned or anything. So i still have like rolls and pudge. After you reached a desired weight id suggest hitting the gym to tone your shit up.

Your metabolism is like a fire, you have to feed it to keep it burning, otherwise your body goes into starve mode, slows down and stores everything as fat. Don't eat 2-3 large meals a day, try 5 or more very small meals.
The reason i bring up genders too, is because we lose weight differently then guys. I'm not entirely sure how OP would benefit from fasting, but i did. Guys fasting also take a shorter amount of time annnnnnd they hold fat differently. Maybe you wouldn't need to work out after man idk

usually people become fat through eating shitty foods that build up bad fat instead of good, usable fat. so not eating won't get rid of it because it's not useful. the best way to get rid of bad fat is through exercise. if one became fat through only eating good foods, then they could theoretically starve to get rid of all of the fat.

You force your body into a Ketogenic state after the first 2 days after which you will be surviving off and burning your fat stores. If you try to just "eat less" you end up entering starvation mode which can lead to severe muscular atrophy and potentially organ damage. However, if you eat less and your diet does not include ANY carbs, you can lose weight through Ketosis without feeling overly hungry and still eating less.

there are different stages of starvation though. after about a week where your diet is about 75% fat, 20% protien, and 5% carbs your brain stops prioritizing carbohydrates and instead utilizes fat (ketosis). that means cutting out carbs almost completely though. this method is much safer and more healthy than long term fasting while producing essentialy the same metabolic state
The trick is just to activate Ketosis and it's really easy after that. I usually don't feel any hunger after the 2nd day, until I start eating again.
