Why don't you support a $15 minimum wage?
Why don't you support a $15 minimum wage?
Silence, I have no opinions of my own, just the opinions the propaganda machine pumps into my head.
We don't have a wage problem, we have a housing problem. Let's pretend that your rent was only $300 a month, you'd be living like a fucking king off of $10/hr.
in todays world it's almost like it's encouraged to collect off the government and to apply for a subistide housing program, a $15 minimum wage would make people do summersalts $11 is even pushing it
1) Because economically it doesn't make sense. You clearly don't know how overhead works.
2) If you believe you're "stuck" at $10 per hour, that's economic natural selection.
3) $10 per hour is peasant pay. Learn more. Get better. Make more money. It's relatively simple to make six figures and be financially responsible.
I don't support it for a bunch of reasons. Firstly, I don't support any sort of government mandated wage minimums, let the workforce vote with their wallet on what wage they'll sell their time for. Secondly, $15/hr minimum wage drives up costs for employers, which means they'll have less to spend on total number of employees to pay, or will have to drastically increase prices to cover the same number of employees, plus keeping the lights on, plus feeding their own families. Third, I'm in a low cost of living flyover state. I make $23/hr as a Heavy Equipment Tech. That ain't bad, I could make more in the private sector, but I don't have to buy tools at my municipal job. What incentive do I have to continue to work at $23/hr, when I could make slightly less, doing fuck-all, at a job/wage position meant for high school kids and high school dropouts?
>It's relatively simple to make six figures and be financially responsible.
is that why only 7% of american workers make six figures
you're not supposed to be a burger flipper forever you lazy uneducated faggot
I would like to see a study on that and the industries related to it.
I make over 100k and I don't have a college education. Just a really good tradesman.
>s that why only 7% of american workers make six figures
