Wrong. There was way more OC and random threads back then. GETS were epic, attention whores knew their place, raids were near constant. We had baww threads that actually helped people, we duckrolled the newfags and trolled the oldfags. EFG was always a page away and you actually could interact with the mods (Bring back Snacks!). Through all the taunts of newfag and nigger you still actually felt a sense of friendship with others here. We were more than Anonymous, we were Yea Forumsros.

Now it's just an endless repost of a repost of a repost. The rare gem thread still appears but they are so fleeting and often not given much attention as the population of this board no longer knows what it is to be truly random.

Yea Forums was always full of shit, but the cancer came and by God did we put in the good fight. But one by one our heroes fell, we started to slow, becoming stagnant and tolerating what we once loathed. We couldn't see the forest through the trees, we accepted the new norm and by the time we realized that we lost what made us Yea Forums it was too late. We left, becoming refugees on other Chans, some of us finding new homes that brought back the old days, others gave up and slowly unplugged from the chan life. The silent few remain, watching over the old halls that have been filled with unrecognizable content. But we're still here, watching, waiting, hoping that our Yea Forumsros are still among us.
