I was one if these kids in the 90s.

Let me tell you how this would have played out.

Girl all the way to the right would be very outgoing and loud and would have had a crush on me that she couldn't keep quiet about and this night in this basement she woumd have orchestrated some game between her friends in an attempt to hook up with me. Problem is I wasnt really interested in anyone going into that night so l would have totally shut her down. Meanwhile, through the course of the night I would gave slowly started to notice the girl on the left with her hands over her face and would start sneaking quick looks at her all night and she wouldn't look back instead she'd look down into her lap feeling a little ashamed cuz she knew her friend was putting in serious work.

The night would end with girl on the right in tears and me completely oblivious to what was going on until the next day when a different friend told me.

Couple months later I'd see girl on the left at a party and we'd drink boones farm and kiss for about a minute then never talk to each h other again.

one time I picked up a girl in a club but we had to take a train to get to my house. she passed out in the train and I got the fuck outta there out fear of getting metoo'd
