Under obama as a 20 something year old white male with entry level employment the only thing that changed was a tax penalty was placed on me for not having health insurance and my employer was forced to provide some sort of bare minimum coverage. The coverage they offered was laughable and would cost over tripple the tax penalty to purchase. all higher paying factories were laying off so I effectively made less money and had no health coverage. when trump got in and imposed the trade tarrifs on imported steal all factories expanded and hired by the hundreds I was able to get a job making double my salary with company paid benefits say what you want about the guy but compared to the exalted savior of the left from last presidency my life has improved
