How would a socialist economy solve the economic calculation problem? Is there a way to make it work or is socialism as dumb as everyone here says.

You are asking people who think the introduction of public healthcare means socialism. In Europe many economics are highly successful, even though they would be considered "socialist" by Ameritard standards

Yeah, I know. Just to clarify I'm not talking about Europe's welfare state. I'm talking about a full blown socialist economy with no private sector. Would it be possible wit the economic knowledge we have today? How do you solve the economic calcu problem.

Mises Was a retard. Supply and demand don't operate in an inherent logic and can be easily manipulated and manufactured leading to monopolies and inefficient resource management.

His entire argument is predicated on the myth that supply and demand is some impervious natural law.

State-owned, public-owned and worker-owned businesses could compete in a market, regulated by an economic plan democratically decided upon by experts, unions, consumer associations, and other stakeholders, utilizing modern computing and real-time operating and communication systems.

I come from an area where coal supplies a lot of jobs. I constantly hear about how Obama and Hillary cost everybody their jobs and how trump brought them back. In reality... coal companies overproduced because they didnt account for a huge shift to natural gas (IE low demand, big supply, low price.) Coal CEOs literally shut down coal mines until the price came back up.

Perfect example of supply and demand manipulation.

At least coal miners and their families know the truth about coal jobs even if the rest of Trump's supporters believe his lies. Unless we run out of natural gas coal ain't coming back.

>give the $23 trillion in debt federal government full control of everything
>thinking it’s a good idea

Trot out your best so I can sniff at it.

If you work in the coal industry you should have considered retraining years ago
