Sitting down a lot.
Probably some pretentious dickwad yelling at you until he can barely talk.
the usual, sucking dicks and drinking cum
Killing brown people.
Lol, chairforce. Good choice, OP. They only take the smartest and you learn high end tech skills. AF basic is easy, it aint the marines. Just yes sir no sir all the knobs and youll be fine.
I went through AF basic in 2004 so it's probably changed a lot since then. You get yelled at a lot and then you get yelled at some more, then you work out and march in formation while being yelled at. Then you get something to eat while being yelled at. NEVER volunteer for anything. If they ask for volunteers its not for something fun. Your goal should be getting through basic without the training instructor knowing your name. Be as low profile as you can, don't wear anything that will make you stick out on the first day. They will rip into you for that. I hope for the love of god you are not going in as open general.
Dying for Israel
thank you!
Dont say anything retarded and do what you're told. Just remember that the guys yelling at you are just doing their jobs and they dont really care.
going in as intel, E-3 and im hoping to become an officer. Why not volunteer? I'd like to stand out to my CO's but I dont want to look like an asskisser
Literally just don’t draw attention or do anything fucking retarded
>Yes Sir and all that shit
Any military training has a certain degree of suckage to it, you just have to not quit - specially at the beginning
Also, just take it chow to chow, night by night since time doesn’t matter anyways while you’re there
If some dick in a stupid hat screams at you, it's a test. You pass this test if you scream back louder and then you get put in seal training.
A lifetime of pain when you're injured and there's zero medical assistance for vets.
I leave early November OP, Have you been practicing PT? You can calculate your PT score on the DEP App they have.
fun and camaraderie. pay attention to detail and don't be a shithead.
Wrong. You just have to get it documentated by military docs so you can file with the VA when you're out.
Paperwork, paperwork, paperwork.
yeah i got a 93 with what I'm at now, my run is what holds the most weight in it
Yeah because there's no gigantic waitlist for injured vets right now.
BETTER LUBE UP YOUR BALLS AND CORNHOLE.
Yea the running weighs heavily.
I fucking hate running too. But pushups aint that.
What AF Yt'ers do u watch?
Make sure you check that whole thing with a lawyer. I aint saying im good people but im good people and that contract is a bit sketchy. Common thing this time of the centuty. You have time to check it out later if you cant muster up the dills for you to check before basic training starts. You might get a free pass on that check if you do.
Im good people is how i know, nothing to do with Yea Forums.
what the fuck are you trying to say?
ptsd and wishing you'd stay home
Found the gay.
lots of buttsecks
Well after seeing 40 guys in line for the shower what else can be expected?
Probably lots of regret and a dishonorable discharge because you can't stop beating off to traps and loli's on Yea Forums.
CHAIR FORCE
You're owned by the U.S. Government for the next four years. You chose the chair force so you at least get the nicest barracks and bases. Lots and lots of cock sucking m
What's yer afsc?
Not Op, I'm the guy that leaves in Nov.
I got Loadmaster, It's an aircrew job.
I hear load master is legit if you're into travel. I hear yall fly from place to place every couple weeks.
I'm Cyber Transport. Picked it cuz it pays well outside the military.
alien cybernetic implants they put in your brain
Mostly.
I think its more often than week to week. Can be day to day depending on the schedule but I hear there are downtimes where you're not due to leave for a few days so you can travel.
Also, flight pay of $225 a month extra + per deim for hotels and food expenses, so if you spend wisely you can save that too.
Basic isn't where you "stand out to your CO's". Save that for later, when you're being commanded by people who actually matter to your career.
So hows the showers in BMT? is it all business? just a line of guys waiting for their turn? Or is it fun and joke filled?
Will there be dick gazers?
It depends on what squadron you're assigned to in basic. Different squardons have different quality dorms. I was on the newer ones, people nowadays call em "Disneyland". Pretty spacious, but pretty new at the time so nothing worked. In disneyland everyone had enough room for their own showerhead for the most part. On the older dorms if yall were in a hurry you might have to squeeze like 3 dudes into a single shower head.
As for the dickstaring, honestly you worry about it the first few nights but after a while, you're just trying to shower and get the fuck out,
>squeeze like 3 dudes into a single shower
At the same time? Or is it just a line and as one comes out one goes in?
I hear the food is pretty good with a lot of options, any comments on that?
A few civilians like me wanting to service you in uniform.
Oh something of real importance to ask, How did you handle all your stuff from your home to your first duty station? Did you just box the stuff you were taking before you left and then shipped it to you?
When your MTI looks at your flight of 50 dudes and says "Yall better fuckin shower and be downstairs in 15 minutes" you'll learn real quick how much personal space you actually need.
I basically just waited until I got to my first duty station, then had my parents either ship it to me, or I took leave and went home to get it and ship it back. I suppose if you live by yourself, you might have to stick that stuff in storage until you can get it.
Yea That what I figured I'd do with my stuff, but it isn't much. Just clothes and some computer equipment and books.
Any stories about BMT that stick out to you?
Did anyone not make it through, like moment of truth shit or just issues?
I got into the air force just after it was sanitized so I don't have too many stories to tell but I do have one.
We'd just finished pt for the day, and formed up by the stairwell. Our MTI was like "Ok, yall got 15 minutes to shower and get back down here formed up ready for dinner" Our dorm was on the 4th floor (pic related) and as we were trying to fucking run up the stairs there were other flights trying to go down them at the same time. Once we got to our dorm and started trying to undress real fast and get in the shower, our dorm chief stops us all and yells "Yo we only have like 7 minutes for all of us to shower and get back downstairs! Get back on the wall! Go back downstairs!" So for whatever fucking reason we went back downstairs and formed up outside. Our MTI was looking at us like wtf. Out Dorm Chief explained to them "Yea, we got up the stairs but we realized there wasn't really any time to shower given the timeframe, so we came back down."
Then we got smoked. That;s pretty much it..
disney land looks nice.
So how long you been in?
There were a few folks who must have gotten injured and put on med hold before we actually started to know each other. Once they got off med hold most of us were like, who the fuck are these people?
Some kids were washed back into our week/flight because they lied about doing drugs or some shit before they got in, and they were taking bmt super seriously, trying to give speeches and shit while taps was playing.
I've been in since January 2016. Don't really have an opinion on the AF as a whole cuz I've only been at one base my whole enlistment. But I will say tech school was pretty alright even though it was real long for my career field at around 7 months.
>I've only been at one base my whole enlistment.
Hopefully its a base near a city, not stuck in the boonies in the middle of butt-fuck no where.
Yea I heard loadmaster training takes around 8-10 months. Mostly because theres Flight basics, SERE, and finally the actual school for your specific plane. I added the training up and its like 7 months total but I think there's some downtime in-between while they wait to fill the classes, total guess.
i mean its burgerland. its probably equivalent of kids playing in sandbox
I was watching this pretty as fuck AF Youtuber named Brittany Willis and she was saying something about not quitting, and I just thought like, it's only 8.5 weeks and by week 4 you're getting fitted for the dress uniform.
It's gonna be my first time getting on a plane to go to BMT so I'm concerned about going through TSA with stuff that I can bring to BMT and not having it all thrown out.
I'm stationed at Mountain Home AFB in Idaho. Honestly I was hoping I would be stationed somewhere overseas, but this is how it turned out. I live in Boise, so its like an hour drive there and back. You'll notice that training bases or joint bases are huge in comparison to a normal base.
I remember when I was getting in I was watching this guys videos.

My first flight was to bmt. Honestly I would tell you to pack light. The first few weeks you'll be changing through your normal clothed until you get issued them, which is gonna be around the 3rd week or so.after that, you probably wont touch your luggage until you leave. I might suggest leaving anything big or really expensive at home, so after bmt you can fly home and get it if you want to,
As long as you're not fat when you get to bmt you'll be fine. It's also the AF and not the Army or Marines, so needless to say, pt isn't as anal is it would be for them.

I actually went to an Army recruiter first, but he kept trying to psych me up for infantry and wasn't really feeling it. I would've tried to go marines but they were never in their office. Also I have flat feet, so I wouldn't have gotten in anyway. My recruiter kept trying to nudge me into being a cop, but I didn't want that. Also I don't know if you'd already picked a job, but there's an entire directory of jobs you can check out, more than the ones you see in the pamphlets. You can also change your job (or ask to change your job) at any point before you actually leave, so if you feel like you're being bamboozled, you can take a look at it. It's called the Air Force Enlisted Career Directory or AFECD. Has every single job and its qualifications, expectations, requirements (asvab scores),
A cake walk. You're chair force, user. You'll go to Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX. It will be October by then, the autumn is pleasant and the winters are mild. You will be spoken to like an actual human being. It will be like community college with a few pushups. If you were a man, you would have joined the corp or the army, unless you're going to be a PJ.
I think now they say to bring 3-4 outfits to switch in and out of and you should be issued everything by the end of the first full week.
They say u can bring your own dedorant, shampoo (3 in 1 body wash), and running shoes.
Thye have an app now that tells you exactly what will provided and what you can bring. Along with everything not allowed like tablets / laptops. When I went to MEPs I shared a room with a guy shipping out to the marines and he literally brought nothing with him except a little book with his General Orders and a picture of his girlfriend.
You forgot TACP. Those guys slay bodies ten plus at a time calling in tactical aircraft. Badass shit right there.
Yeah, my team's JTAC saved our asses several times.
Pretty sure this time if year contacts for PJ's are all closed. At least when I looked. Decided to go army instead.
