I fucking hate mcdonalds. everything from the customers to the coworkers to the fucking scent of the place just drives me up a fucking wall.
picked up an overnight shift so I could have some extra cash for my future at the expense of my social life and the place is just awful, the main gripe I have is how they say they're understaffed for overnight but have 3-5 people working the windows at one time (only 2 windows btw) while they have 1 person on the grill and the fuckers have the gall to say that if I continue working there I could quit my day job (like I would EVER consider that since I make $21/hr there compared to $9.50/hr at mcdonalds).
the customers, holy goddamn mother of fuck, are the absolute fucking worst. these obese morons will drive up and order (real order I had to make my 2nd fucking day there) 15 cheeseburgers with 7 with extra pickle and no mustard, 20 mchickens with half plain and the other half with cheese and tomato, 6 double quarter pounders, 10 big macs with extra mac sauce and bacon, and, I shit you not, 30 fucking mcdoubles. not only were there only 2 people working the grill that night, 1 of them was super overwhelmed me along with my trainer. this order was a rare case but there are many other times where people order similar shit just not with the same quantity. literally just fucking walked out mid dinner rush on my 5th day because I was by my fucking self getting swamped with special orders by the dozen and getting berated for taking too long. and I also have to wash all of the dishes by myself while making food and if I don't, this midget beaner who takes her shitty burger flipping job way too seriously, yells at me and complains to a manager that "I'm not doing any work".

Worked at Subway once cause I was on probation and my PO said she'd arrest me if I wasn't employed within a week. One of my coworkers was this insane, morbidly obese bitch who had her stomach stapled to lose weight yet still drank five or six giant cups of poweraid every day. Instead of changing out the ingredients every day or two like she was supposed to she would just change the dates on the labels so the store was full of rotting meat. We'd get calls from other subways in town warning that they had gotten robbed two or three times a week. The franchise owner wouldn't give us the code to the safe because she'd rather we get shot in the face than lose a precious three grand of her cash. The day Jared got caught for diddling kids we had to rush around the store getting rid of everything with his image on it before the customers came. Only upside was that I could steal their cookie dough.
