Join a local 34 piledrivers union. It is out of Oakland and they start at $28 an hour plus good benefits. You dont need any experience. Just fake it until you make it and work hard. The pay caps out at almost $60 an hour. They also do a lot of underwater welding. Look into schooling for that if it excites you.

Or, just go join laborers union and make less and have more easily aquireable work.
