The Mexicans typically are in the factory. My brother-in-law and myself work there as well. My mom and sister work in the office. If we got rid of majority of the illegal factory workers, it would fuck over the office workers.

Similar situation to me. Got hired at the Toyota plant in our town, no prior experience. Paying 22.00 /hr. My last job was McDonalds paying $8/ hr. Feels like I just hit the fucking jackpot with this job. I'm saving back a shit load of money now for a house. If things go right, I might be able to buy one with cash within 2 years since a decent 2 bedroom home in our county with a couple acres only goes for about $60 grand.

Pretty much my story too. Work at the Hyster plant here on their production line. Getting paid $19 per hour, which is substantially higher than the $12 / hour average for our little hick town. Making more now than the dipshits I went to H.S. with that got liberal arts degrees in college. Hell,a good number of those douchebags are serving me dinner when I go out to eat on the weekend.

Joking aside, I have a 3rd gen tacoma and it's the greatest investment.
Fucking things hold their value and can run forever with routine maintenance.

I'm a government employee IN California and I can tell you for certain that is not even remotely the case.
Well if you're talkin legal immigrants then that's a whole different ball game.
They'll have all the necessary documentation to get positions unless it's in law enforcement with always requires a comprehensive and exhaustive background investigation where an actual detective/investigator physically visits locations and probes your personal life.
I highly doubt they'll accept anyone who has residences within the last 10 years outside of the United States.
They're not going to leave the country to investigate whatever Village you came from.
