Social libertarians believe in minimizing the government but think there are economic benefits to having social dues which you call taxes. Usually this comes from a standpoint that it would be impossible to create a governmentless society short of having society actually collapse due to a catastrophe out of our control. People wouldnt subscribe to the idea. Even anarchists believe in small local "governments."

If you think there is any situation where there isnt a executive arm of society you are are actually high af.

Reducing taxes, putting a small but effective tax based off of your positioning in earnings. Say a marginal 10% rate for top 40% of earners (individuals not household). Taxing inheritance a small rate (because there is no income tax for most individuals), and removing all welfsre systems besidies a negative tax for the lowest earners we could shift some help to the lower 40%.

Besides that there can be a local VAT or flat tax for all citizens (that wouldnt effect income earned through redistribution) and these would be to go towards local systems everyone uses (police, fire, city governments, ect). The few systems left in place at federal and state levels would be funded through capital and short term position stock taxes.

The overall plan would be to reduce overall taxation by a large margin, reduce government size, and still be able to offer an effective social system I find to be beneficial for society. There are other systems thatbare effected differently. Social security for example I would pull all of the money we have guaranteed and shut the program off instantly. Turn over the money into whatever the persons chosen secured retirement account be (whether its a rolled over 401k, investment account, ect) and give the government the power to insure retirement accounts but keep the government out of social security.

I'm just trying to help reduce the size of thr government with solutions that might work. What have you done?
