This movie has some good ideas and some nice visuals, but overall its a mess because everything happens way too fast. Honestly the first time I watched it I had thought I had somehow accidentally set the playback speed to 1.5x

yea unfortunately..... the idea of magical girls existing hundreds of years ago and the witch world's influence being passed down through generations as human myth is rly enthralling.. the story is so dark n haunting n atmospheric.. and the animation and soundtrack is some of the best in the series
yet its hard for me to call it a great movie when its so critically flawed. i love it anyway tho, for what it is
