I need some legal help. My company terminated me without my knowledge and is now refusing to pay me until I bring in my uniform. Are they allowed to hold my wages?
Also backstory, I guess my supervisor is mad I basically quit the post I was assigned for another job offer.

I was honestly gonna rob them. I work security and i have the codes and know where all the facility keys are. Front office is full of iPads and flat screens and is completely unguarded after 2am.
I was waiting until I get my pay first. But yes I have thought of shooting that shit up.

I told them I cant make it to the post anymore. At first I made excuses then I quit it when I got a job interview with this other company that pays more.. they took me off the post and didnt tell me I wasnt an employee anymore.

This is going to come as a shock, but laws differ in different places. To find out what you legal rights are where you live, consult an attorney or whatever the local version of the Labor Commission or whatever it is called where you are.

dumbass. You have to turn in your uniform to get your last paycheck. I've worked at 2 companies with uniforms and they do this as well. Infact if I was missing any of my clothes provided i'd owe $1400 because the company pays to clean and maintain your uniform.

I had something similar, they made up some bullshit to not pay wage + vacation hours, just wrote them i will bring it up to "small" court, don't know English and got paid in an hour. In most countries they first have to pay and they can claim it back after a court decision, if there is a contract.
