I like to imagine that she's just at a bus stop, maybe checking pokemon go, nice weather, no need to cover at all, it's totally accepted that some people are adult babies. Of course that also means that adult babies have to put up with any big checking their diaper and being subject to public changes, a real baby couldn't feel shame or embarrassment so an adult baby can't be able to either and nobody wants a stinky diaper wafting around town. So clearly I have an AB bent to my enjoyment. If we shifted the script to more DL leaning, then self-sufficiency is still expected. If everything else about what you wear says 'I am an adult' ex. Buttons, laces, layers, accessories beyond a pacifier on a shirt clip and diaper bag, then the expectation of autonomy and privacy still exists, you still have to share the same diaper changing stations as the AB, but nobody is going to surprise-grope your bottom.
But let's continue from the bus stop. You get on the bus, it's clear from your sneakers you can tie your shoes, unlike the AB who would get pulled into someone's lap (carseats not ideal for mass transit so some big has to take initiative to make sure you're safe) a DL instead will get offered laps to sit on, can refuse, but if you sit a diaper rub would probably be offered, especially from another DL, now someone may ask you to keep the noise down, but it's like watching strangers shake hands at this point.
DL's might get some slight discrimination in public areas, given they choose when they get changed and if they triple diapered you know it won't be after the first mess, but there isn't the impetus of an adult-adult to change you without consent, so there may be a stinky section of a restaurant with a porch with outside facing fans or similar.

What you don't see much of are collections of just AB's, although Nursey situations aren't unheard of.
