There's a difference between not wanting the shot and being someone who goes into work sick. Depending on strain prevalence some years flue shot can miss 40% or more of the flu that is out there. This isn't about keeping people from getting sick its about ((insurance)) and ((liability)). The only reasons healthcare employers made this shit a mandate, is to reduce lost employee time due to illness. It's also just a feel good/marketing point that "we care for your health by doing this". Ultimately the goal of vaccination is to create "herd immunity" like 60-70% vaccination rate. Another thought you should consider is the fact healthcare workers are bombarded with infectious pathogens daily. Their immune systems are constantly creating new anti-bodies based on exposure. In all honesty they, hospitals, and clinics are more likely to expose others regardless if they get the shot anyway. People need to just stay home, and suck it up when they are sick.
