No, I'm really being serious. I (usually) don't like clean singing bands, and Metallica especially is one of the most overrated in the history of music.
I did like Black Sabbath as a kid, but I liked the Dio material better than Ozzy. Iron Maiden and Metallica both had one song each that I found listenable ("Hallowed Be Thy Name" and "Fade to Black") in high school, but neither one of them had any staying power.
