I would say that's a bit early. Mid to late thirties nowadays is pretty much the cut off. But you can still be damned good at something after that.
How to get rich when you come from a poverty background?
if you have to ask, you already lost. being poor and being stupid is 2 different things. anyone can up their standard of life, just have to work for it instead of wait for shit to magicly happen user.
First seperate money making activies from personal morality. Then find a skill that is currently valuable. Work hard at it, prefer methods where you work for yourself. Pay for other people to do the work that you can't do yourself. You can take out loans if you don't have the principal to invest in some employees, or contractors. Focus on methods of making money that are passive, and fund them with method of making money that are active until you have enough money to fund passive ventures with passive income. Eventually hire other people to do everything for you, and just collect a pay check from a multitute of areas.
Learn about stocks, the tax system, how to start the framwork for a business to avoid tax. Learn as much as you can, and keep trying different shit until something sticks.
The most important part is that if you don't succeed it is 100% your fault one way or the other. I started out early in my life hitch hiking, begging for money, and relying on dumpster food to eat. Now I'm very successful in stock trading and real estate, as well as many internet ventures. If I can do it so can you. I'm in my mid twenties and didn't have shit when I was 20.
Asks that question

This is only true if you are too moral in your persuit of getting money, or you lack the capability to learn a valuable skill.
coming from a poverty background has nothing to do with you current financial status.
