Conservatives will cut taxes on high earners but probably not the rest of us. They have no economic vision whatsoever, just privatizations (theft of Public property for their friends), tax cuts for rich, deregulating things to make their friends cash, growing the wealth divide further.

NDP. They have a bunch of ideas to soften the blow the middle class has endured the last few decades (small rent controls, limited pharmacare, tiny amount of social housing) but they have no real vision. They just do the same thing Trudeau is doing except they are more pro union.

We need radical yet pragmatic socialism. Bold plans to compete globally building renewables and other niche technologies. Take a lesson from China and Germany in guiding the economy towards certain socially beneficial products and services.

I think any left party needs to stop advertising their pro-lgbt / anti racist sentiments. They should just put the shit in the charter and focus on socio-economic stuff.

I get the idea, but the sad truth is that a true protest takes more radical action than crossing out a ballot. It's true that even a very small minority of people opposing the government almost guarantees results. However, that has to be true opposition, and crossing off a ballot is not opposition in the slightest. Most canadians, while unhappy with their government, are not unhappy enough to take to the streets, meaning that the government will really not care about those crossed-out ballots. The real problem is that sufficient motivation for fighting for change is gated behind throwing away the dwindling well-being that you currently have, and most people are not willing to sacrifice that.
