Also You can’t apply the same logic that European countries have 18 year old drinking ages, because they are much less dependent on cars then Americans. Also they have established cultures that have perpetuated responsibility of drinking at that age.

At least wait until you move out. You aren't mature enough nor do you have anything worth drinking about to stress over yet. Your job isn't hard, I promise you. You don't even have any bills to pay outside of maybe tuition fees. Studying for a test doesn't qualify you as alchaholic-worthy. Try meditation or going for a walk.
