Life isn’t a disease or a virus - life is a condition of the universe. Is it any wonder that life creates a way to get through so much turmoil and danger when going from place to place? Look at the Tardigrade: is it not built for moving from planet to planet in a pinch? Honestly, who is even sure it came from our planet? As far as we know, they are Animalia, but they exist in their own phylum - for all we know, they landed here off of something else. Life could be more common than we think, but quite possibly it’s easier to travel amongst the stars in smaller carrying cases. They start by feeding off a basic, local energy source, then figure out what the most abundant energy sources of their current area at large, then getting larger in size to fill the entire planet eventually, until they are everywhere. And then an entire kingdom or superphylum of life is born, ever evolving, competing with itself to become the most perfect thing to live in this reality comfortably. And what even defines comfort? Why are these things comfortable? Why are too hot temperatures too hot? Why does the cold slow our molecules down? Why are these rules in place? Is there even a reason that needs to exist? The very existence of the concept of something called “meaning” indicates that it must be equally as essential for the very existence of time, space, and matter. If a drive is needed, if the evolutionary advantage of having drive is needed to survive, why do we have concepts like giving and receiving love? Or giving and receiving pain? Or the feeling of euphoria? Or trying to predict the future through planning? Or trying ever-long to achieve a level of comfort that is considered scientifically documented and studied to be the most perfect and transcendent we can possibly experience life? Why do we exist within these frames of thinking? To what end does this research that life is performing come to it’s conclusion? Why does this matter?

Why do the molecules that make up a cell which is made of an even larger body of trillions upon trillions upon trillions of cells need to feel and think and create? Why does it need to move in a certain way amongst other molecules? Is it all just numbers, data that is programmed by some kind of machine beyond our ability to perceive, but what we can only speculate, whatever that means. We still can’t explain why these molecules that make of these cells move in the way they do. I do understand that establishing an argument based off the defendants lack of an explanation does not count as a fair argument, but can anyone give a comparable explanation to why life exists and moves about the way it does? We’re a furry of millions of molecules trying to find our way back together, just so we can explode again. We don’t know why, this is just the way it’s always been. And nobody is curious to know why life exists or needs to exist. Why is existence and the consciousness it entails?

I don't think life is a condition - a requirement for the universe/reality . i neither think life is a disease or virus. I think it is a phenomena. Right conditions and something which we call life happens. No weight or judgement for all civilizations that will exist - we, all life - is an irregular happening. It's not here for us. We're not here for it.

The only condition I would sat that consciousness is a condition for the universe when it comes to quantum shit. doubles slit experiment shows that observations impact how a wave moves. In that case maybe maaaaybe just the act of life lined up some quantum biullshit to make reality as we know it. and the goal of life is to keep life going so the universe does not die.
