fuck knows, weight isn't a function of volume. get a $8 scale instead of risking a trip into crazy land

looks like 1/8th from eyeballing

but do what the nigger above me said

That's definitely at least 7-14 grams

Ignore the niggers, you won’t trip if you take it all. Trust me I’m FBI

Checked
I don't have them on me so I can't weigh them. Courier doesn't have a scale but assures that this is 5 grams. Should I buy the ticket?

as opposed to being sober? pick up, or learn how to grow your own in a month or so with minimal effort aside from sterilising the substrate to prevent competing organisms growing instead of your delicious fungi

Just take them all, and ignore the faggots warning you about a crazy trip. You want a crazy trip. Anything under 5g is completely pointless. Under 5g, you just see fancy shit and feel kinda warm. The real trips start at 10g, thats when you actually enter enter strange lands and feel things you've never felt before. Also remember, the shroom cant kill you, it can only convince you're dead.

I put the photo in full screen and weighed it on my scale, it's about 5.3 Oz.
Nice haul op!

I haven't done any drugs yet, but I am pretty curious about getting to see things like is talking about.

btw where do you live? There are some psilocybin shrooms that grow pretty commonly around this time of year. Psilocybin semilanceata is one of the most common ones, and one of the most potent ones. I'm going harvesting in like 2 days, and except to get minimum 20g dry worth of them.

Dont listen to that fuck tard up there. Saying anything under 5 isn't worth it. Hes fucking retarded. He has no idea the potency or strain pictured. Start with 3.5 grams and wait until it peaks. If you want to go further take more .

Looks like 2 8ths (aka a fourth or a dubsack)
Do not eat that all at once or you will have a bad time. Don't even take more than half at once.
Make sure you plan ahead for about 4 hours.
Best way to eat would be with peanut butter, a strong citrus, or if you're a classy motherfucker, eat a few of the pretty caps and grind the rest for tea.

Im an experience mushroom grower of cubes but also other species. Looks like 2.5-3.5 grams eat them all unless u wanna micro dose looks like the grower harvested them at the perfect Time so the psilocybin to water weight should be the most accurate.

>t. only eats weak shrooms
most people will pass out for hours at 7g if the shrooms are decently potent. 5g is a very heavy trip that can get nasty easily if you're not experienced.

identifying mushrooms is difficult even for mycologists and plenty of dipshits poison themselves looking for psilocybe or other psychotropic mushrooms, I wouldn't recommend it to anybody unless they're very well read on the subject and know their local biome.

I've eaten semilanceata, which has one of the highest potencies. How the fuck would someone pass out from 7g of 'decently' potent shrooms? What would make them pass out? I've taken several 10g~ doses of semilanceata, and never felt like i'm gonna pass out. Identifying (at least) semilanceata is pretty easy, and there arent really any poisonous shrooms that look even close to it (to my knowledge, maybe in some countries there are)

Lmao this dumb nigger picks his own shrooms and talks about potency.

Bitch you’ve been eating dog turd if you think you’ve dosed anything even close to 10g of proper mush.

You just said nothing. Me picking the shrooms is in no way related to their potency (I dry them till they're cracker dry; I dont just eat them when I see them outside since i'm aware of them being 1/10th as potent when wet)
I mean at least according to wikipedia they're among the highest in potency, tho i'm aware they're not quite at the top.
Gartz reported an average of 1% psilocybin (expressed as a percentage of the dry weight of the fruit bodies), ranging from a minimum of 0.2% to a maximum of 2.37%, which is the highest psilocybin concentration reported for a mushroom.
Michael Beug and Jeremy Bigwood, analyzing specimens from the Pacific Northwest region of the United States, reported psilocybin concentrations ranging from 0.62% to 1.28%, averaging 1.0 ±0.2%. They concluded that the species was one of the most potent, as well as the most constant in psilocybin levels.

first of all you have a stick up your ass that you might want to think about working out if you ever get tired of coming across as a socially inept asshole. fungus fruits aren't carbon copies of each other, depending on where they're growing and the native variety and phenotypes they can look very different from another in a different micro or macro environment. they'll share common characteristics of the species of course but one has to know the specific characteristics of the entire species and thoroughly understand how to identify a mushroom, hence why I advise hunters to at least read a book on the subject first before playing the dunning-kruger induced hospitalisation game. mushrooms tend to make people feel sleepy, "flowy" and sedated and a high enough dose can and will make a person fall asleep for hours and find staying awake difficult, as I've seen multiple times.

Dont get what you're going on about. No shit they're not all perfect copies of each other, but semilanceata are still pretty easy to identify, and even if you pick a few wrong ones, they shouldnt be poisonous. Not aware of any poisonous shrooms that resemble semilanceata. Also since they're so common, you could only pick the ones you're 100% sure of and still get a pretty good amount. With smaller doses you generally feel more flowy and sedated, but 'amount-to-tiredness' doesnt progress linearly. At least in my experience there's a point where the dose is so big that that effect goes away. You'll feel sedated, but you're too preoccupied with whats going on in your reality to actually fall asleep.

pholiotina rugosa is hepatotoxic, generally looks similar although obviously has differentiating characteristics and grows in the same general range and environments as semilanceata as well as similarly brusing blue when exposed to oxygen as I understand, and a quick google search reveals people finding it fairly often when looking for semilanceata. I've unintentionally fallen asleep on mushrooms before, alkaloid sedation isn't quite linear but it doesn't need to be to take a nap and I'm sure individual physiology and condition plays a role in one's reaction to them -- you may not have felt too baked on them, but that doesn't preclude the possibility of it occurring.

I'm not too familiar with psilocybe semilanceata to be honest, cultivating other species is much easier, consistent and controllable than stalking around the woods looking for magic mushrooms.

>Pholiotina rugosa is a common lawn mushroom which is widely distributed and especially common in the Pacific Northwest.
> It has been found in Europe, Asia and North America.
Shame that the second bit is kinda vague. I'm from Finland and have never heard people talk about this shroom. This is where it could be good if OP answered where he's from.
This shroom is still pretty distinct from semilanceata if you put more than 10 mins into researching what semilanceata looks like. Googling pics of it, I immediately spotted a bunch of things which indicate that it isnt semilanceata, such as it having a ring, the ends of the cap not turning back in enough, the ends of the cap not being dark/purple from the spores. Also could check if you can twist it around your pinky without it breaking and if it has a slimy cover. You have to have not put any research into semilanceata to mix it for this one.

this is what I'm saying: you weren't aware of this lookalike mushroom yet you still hunt for them, although I concede that it's possible that they aren't found in finland but nonetheless OP may not have been as lucky if he were you. googling something enough that probability doesn't immediately turn against you and actually having thorough insight and experience in the field to definitely, safely and assuredly know what one is doing are two entirely different things and thus one should be very cautious when picking mushrooms if one hasn't spent a great deal of time studying them at large. consider what you may not know rather than what you know you know, hm? or grow them discreetly indoors from reputably sold spores and avoid an unlucky run in with law enforcement or the emergency services.

>this is what I'm saying: you weren't aware of this lookalike mushroom yet you still hunt for them
I have actually looked up what the poisonous shrooms around here are. I'd assume that someone who goes looking for them, and has an IQ above 60, would do the same (as well as putting in 10 mins of effort into learning to identify semilanceata, which alone should save you from accidentally picking the wrong one).
>or grow them discreetly indoors from reputably sold spores
I dont know what its like in murica, but at least in a lot of places in Europe if you order them they're coming from another country, and are highly likely to be seized by customs.

Attached: cattu ja cattu.jpg (647x900, 110K)

I'm from europe. you'd be surprised how many international drug smuggling routes use the mail with only occasional seizures, considering that the quantity of parcels going through customs each day is far too great to inspect even a reasonable fraction of them. one can also makes spore syringes from spore prints of outdoor mushrooms, which keep almost indefinitely if stored properly.

that said, I wouldn't be surprised if countries with stricter customs screen packages with certain return addresses and such. finding spores locally from other hunters/growers if you can't make a definite positive i.d on a tested mushroom to process into a spore syringe is also an option. I wonder what, if any, chemical tests exist to reliably confirm the presence of psilocybin in mushrooms.
