Having the foot of your bed facing the doorway or the head of your bed underneath a window is supposed to sap away your energy. Your bed should ideally also be approachable from both sides without any sharp cornered furniture or decorations you could run into if you get up during the night.

right on, didn't know it was all so scientific

It's not science at all. Just practical design when you think about it. Keeping your bed away from a window which is a potential source of a cold draft is a good idea. Having your bed open on both sides means you don't have to crawl over your partner to get in or out. The thing about not having the foot of your bed facing the doorway comes from an old superstition that having your bed arranged like that makes it easier for the undertaker to load you into a coffin. Having your bed not facing a doorway is supposed to help prevent you from dying in your sleep.

Also, never sleep with a cat in the room. They will steal your soul.

Idk what it is with snow settings and warm rooms but that is peak cozy for me.

not sure if that is a giant tv, but this looks straight out of the early 70s otherwise.

i love this one

Im not huge into the really fancy stuff, but that would be a great thanksgiving or holiday dinning room. The fireplace right there is very inviting.

by our perception, but could not be a TV that close to the fire beneath. In the 70's? No Idea, some kind of funky heat radiating plate
