What do you think of that execution method:
Restrain prisoner to the chair, immobilize the head and neck, insert two needles connected to the generator between the cervical vertebrae and fry the spinal cord with high voltage.
No blood, no expensive chemicals, painless? (if using some painkillers?)

Large scale tests should be held to try out different methods and judged of cost, time it takes, possibly entertainment value
I would volunteer to have this (or anything similar) tested on me. Have to make sure it works before starting the executions :P
I guess if you're worried about being humane, you wouldn't execute people in the first place.
How about anaesthetising them and putting them in a guillotine? Guillotines are surely cheap and reusable. Don't have to worry about suffering a slow and painful death if they're already asleep. Plus it's surely more humane to fall asleep in a pleasant room (and then be transported to the chopper) than to face death awake and stressed... or maybe this is about punishment and being "humane" isn't actually an argument after all?

It can be optional. It's their life, they can choose how to face the end of it.
